Bangladeshis have nothing to do with South Asia? That was the justification given for what Pakistan forces did over there in 1971? Remember Bangladesh officially certifies a number "3 million"...and establishes it at the fundamental base for creation of BD (you will be prosecuted by law if you question it in BD). This number makes anything else pale in comparison....and you know full well which country they say was behind it.

The issue here is about the Rohingyas of Arakan. Yet you came up with the 1971 crap. Like many other figures, the "3 million killed" figure is just hilarious. It was invented and propagated by India and is followed by a certain political party in BD. People do not accept the Indian figures. They know the truth. Read the census figures after 1971. Read also that Vietnam lost about 1 million people during its 30 year war with France and US.

It has been Indian authors like Sarmila Bose that have brought it into question. Not ONE academic in BD has even been allowed to approach it. The only ones are jamaati types that have fled the country to begin with and have a vendetta (rather than balls or a brain).

Someday you should leave your waiter job in the cheap coffee shop in Japan and go back to BD and visibly deny this figure of 3 million, the word "genocide" for 1971 and see what BD govt does to you (if you can even get past their extrajudicial thugs who will do a lot worse).

We have seen the war and we do not find many 10s in the nearby villages who were killed in action or in the so-called mass killing. So, stop ranting about the killing figures invented by India in 1971 to bring the world sentiment in its favor to justify its war.

We surely support the BD-India joint war that brought us our freedom from a group of people we do not share values with. But, the 3 million figure is a crap. Go and find out how many were killed even in the 2nd world war that continued for almost five years through all the Continents and when all the nations were slashing throats of each other.

Bangladesh’s Foreign Ministry on Thursday summoned the Myanmar Ambassador in Dhaka, Myo Myint Than, to hand over a protest note against firing on Bangladeshi fishermen in the Bay of Bengal.

Dhaka has claimed that Myanmar’s border troops intruded into Bangladesh waters and opened fire on two fishing boats near the St. Martin’s Island, injuring six on Tuesday. Dhaka demanded an investigation into the incident and asked that those responsible be brought to justice. It also sought assurance that the Myanmar Navy would abstain from “attacking innocent Bangladeshi fishermen” in the future.

The Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Thursday that Bangladesh’s Foreign Secretary Kamrul Ahsan handed the protest note to the Myanmar envoy.


In the meeting, Bangladesh also expressed concern over the ongoing influx of the Rohingya Muslims into its territory and demanded their early repatriation to Myanmar. The Foreign Secretary mentioned that around 50,000 Myanmar citizens have taken shelter in Bangladesh since October 9.

Dhaka also expressed its readiness to discuss with Myanmar the modalities of repatriation.

Good that you deny it. But the figure was not made by India but by BAL.
