Maharaj even gave money to Sufi saints,Masjids and Madarassas. I know he didn't discriminate. But look at Muslims in Maharashtra they hate Shivaji and in some places they put banners of Aurangbzeb and Afzal Khan. So they needed to treated like ungrateful traitors which they are.

Tipu Sultan did fight British but you are forgetting that he was one of the biggest persecutors of Christians and Hindus. So no respect for him.

Jinnah was a Shia. Shias were the most vocal supporters of Pakistan movement. Shia might now support India due to Sunni extremism. But we can't trust opportunists.

My Point is it was wrong to have more than 0.5% muslims after the partition.
