I don't understand why people voting to better their lives

makes indians think kashmiris suddenly want to be indians

These are the same people who killed and cleansed hindus from large parts of Kashmir

its not an issue of voting to better their lives its not even an issue of India

its the hindus, kashmiris cant stand and being part of a largely hindu india which is unacceptable

I haven't shown it, because there is no such thing to show.

Have you ever seen a situation anywhere in the world where the army threatens people into voting? It is always the opposite that happens - armymen, merely because they have guns, dissolving elected governmets. This happens frequently in unfree, unevolved countries where the army thinks that it is their right to rule citizens. But there has never been an instance of armymen using the threat of violence to force people to vote - terrorists and armed groups have often forced people not to vote.

Anyway, please do substantiate your wild allegation - show us any news report from any media (Indian or foreign) that talks about Kashmiris being forced to vote. If you cannot do that, please do tell us how you gained that information. Was it by divination?

The UN resolution is passed under a non enforceable clause. Simply put, it is only an advisory.

India does not feel the need for a plebiscite, therefore it shall not happen.
