Doesnt matter, we're not out here claiming anything is perfect. Or that India's defence industry is perfect. Every Indian user here will already tell you this.

If Sweden with a more developed defence industry can do it, it takes nothing away from India. But dont come here talking about India's lying, or not telling the truth, or other non sense, when your respective countries arent as open about as it.

It's hilarious you cant accept CAG report, but accept misquoted sources that are Indian too.

Copying then making the same thing with 3 D printers not going to WIN wars, WHY in the world you placed an order for SU 35, after all you make SU copies (with Imported Engines)
 
Not even the French whole sale gave India LCA's design, they consulted on several designs already developed by ADA.

I am not an aviation expert nor claim to be one. But 30 years of development seems to be too long. The Indian Tejas should be a 5th Generation Fighter by now. I don't think the Pakistani Thunder took that long. But then again I might be wrong.

@gambit sir, You are the resident aviation expert, what's your take on this one?
 
Why Tejas aircraft failed and some Indian members claims 35 years research and development produce great knowledge and tech.
Aircraft itself doomed the first and the only before induction many believes it becomes obsolete.
Engine Kaveri failed.
Indigenous Radar still not available.
Locally designed landing gears too heavy for a small aircraft and often develops snags.
Serious changes requires in aerodynamics.
Now Indian members ask sources Just google it.
Nothing achieved in 35 years development and research even not a single notable achievement.

What else required to declare it a failure.
