Seriously I always thank China :D now I am staring to think you are my best friend Sino :D
So what next ???

your indians said we chinese copied west, i just tell you west copied our great inventions first. No China, No Modern Weapons, No Modern World! face the fact :china:

then explain me, why your WS10 A Taihang has not similar but same specifications, length, design, spools, width, weight, fuel consumption and even the weight as of Russian Saturn Lyulka turbofan. Even if the design is same, why cannot it run continuously without a halt of 2-4 hours on test bed, isn't that a failure, even after stealing copying the technology.

what are u talking about ?? ws10 is not the same specifications, length, design, pools, width, weight, fuel conumption with Saturn Lyulka turbofan. big mouth india you know nothing about ws10, only big talk again are you dreaming??

Then tell us, what is the real specifications of WS10 ???

Com'on ppl its not Ind vs China.

2015 is very optimistic, even it fly in 2015 Foc and Serial production will start within 2,3 years so Lca-mk2 will be ready for induction in IAF somewhere in 2018/19. :partay:

If they deliver 40 Teejas to IAF by 2015 it will be big achievement. :p

China has acquired Russian engines to the amount of $500 million - News - Russian Aviation - RUAVIATION.COM

Rosoboronexport and the Chinese Ministry of Defense have signed a contract on delivery of 123 Al-31FN engines to the total amount of $500 million, Lenta.ru reports.

The first 13 engines will be delivered this year and the rest will be delivered by the end of 2013. The contract will be implemented by Salut.

AL-31FN engines are widely used on Chinese J-10 and J-11 fighters (the modified copy of Su-27). China acquires Russian engines regularly since the engines manufactured in China have low reliability. The Ministry of Defense has acquired 54 engines from Russia in 2003, 100 - in 2007 and 122 - in 2009. Supposedly, most of the acquired engines have been installed on export versions of Chinese fighters in accordance with requirements of the customers.

WS-10A engines At present China manufactures WS-10 engines and its derivatives for J-10 and J-11. These engines are copies of Russian AL-31, but they have lower thrust, reliability and time between overhaul.:bunny: In particular, are installed on Chinese J-15 deck-based fighter prototype (copy of Su-33), and WS-10G – on fifth-generation J-20 fighter bomber prototype.

Besides AL-31FN, China regularly acquires RD-93 engines in Russia (version of RD-33 engine for the Chinese FC-1 fighter, also delivered to Pakistan as JF-17).

Russian companies MiG and Sukhoi have demanded that Rosoboronexport should stop the deliveries of RD-93 engines to China in 2010. The China’s intention to sell FC-1 fighters to Egypt was the reason for this demand. MiG intends to enter the same market with MiG-29. It has become known later that the delivery of these engines will be continued since FC-1 is not competing with MiG-29 due to its characteristics.

those above given specifications of WS10 are same as, Russian Saturn Lyulka FN series.

3-4 years delay in defence arms is nothing. have a look on either LCA mk1 or on pakistan's JF17 blk1, these aircrafts will have lost their front line use by even 2015 onward and they will then need upgrades to more than half of their techs. it is believed that most of the saturations wil occur by 2018/20 and few years delays may help LCA mk2 having most the prime techs which M-MRCA contenders had. its not just AESA radar but LCA bk2 would be as capable that 10 Rafale + 10 LCA mk2 will work as good as 20 Rafale, if IAF may delay its program for 3-4 years to have best inputs for this aircraft, which will then work for IAF till 2050, and afterward. also, India already delivery of over 42 4.5 gen aircrafts right now, why to hurry? :undecided:

1st OF all My dear Keep JF 17 out of it CZ (tejas) it was started in 1980`s and JF 17 was started in 1999 and in 2002 we alrdy had prototype which was flying and now we have jf blk 1 and 2 and lol got more then 50 aircraft's ready to fight anywhere any time baby

the Kaveri is much advance than GEF404, I think the IAF is not sure about the reliability so may be be they are not talking the chances. But Kaveri is Indeed an innovation, when it comes to the specifications and compared to other engines.

so what west copied china first (e.g. gun power, gun, cannon...more) , we copy back. ws15 is coming out next year , what about india. india failed finally.

by the way, ws10b is much powerful than ws10a, how about big mouth india
