Huzoor, you need to check your time scale... What is short period of time to you might be a lifetime to someone else... Someone born in 1983 when Tejas idea was born, would have joined the IAF, gone through his most useful flying years(22-35), and be moving towards a desk job by now...

Actually, those examples are done in a short term, matter of years reworking the platform. 1984 is the foundation of ADA. Full sanction started in the early 90s. It was a name only, just like your AZM program right now.

In any case, whatever evolution you are talking about, at the given rate, it will all be obsolete by the time they derive something new. Let's stick to facts. Facts are LCA still not combat ready coming up close to 40 years now! Is that ridiculous or what? Its ok WCE, admitting a problem is first step in fixing it. Bharat Mata is still a great nation. Just admit that DRDO is not at Bollywood level yet!

No, it was a paper plane then, no different to you AZM, a name. ADA was founded then, but it had to built from the ground up. Full sanctioning started in the early 90s. LCA is in production now, further orders for another batch is on its way. It's future is bright.

I am not very informative but plz don't compare PAF plans with IAF plans. Whatever you say we have completed JF17 1 and 2 now heading towards Block 3.

AND WE SHALL COMPLETE 5TH GEN FIGHTER GOAL AS WELL(AZM OR WHATEVER).

As a neighbor i recommend u to use tejas for pulling fast trains. Atleast ur people will get some happiness.

This is what ACM (R) Sohail Aman has to say about the IAF pilots, it is not just their planes but their pilots too are below par.

ISLAMABAD - Former Pakistan Air Force Chief Sohail Aman has said that the Indian Air Force has neither professional-level planning nor its aviation training is up to the standards.

One of IAF Russian SU-30 fighter jet was hit by a Pakistani pilot within 25 miles of its control area without crossing the Line of Control; war is not the solution to any problem, but we have to be prepared for any kind of aggression.

Prime Minister Imran Khan raised the Kashmir issue well, but now it is essential that Pakistan maintains continuity in these efforts so that the world can focus on human rights violations in Kashmir.

He expressed these views at Pakistan Institute for Conflict and Security Studies roundtable conference While. Responding indirectly to the Indian Air Chief's recent statement that the Indian Air Force is ready for further operations like Balakot style, Sohail Aman said that the issue of Indian Air Force is as weak as a local bully who has a knife in his hand but he does not know how to shoot a knife at an opponent.

In contrast, Pakistani pilots have gained advanced professionalism during the last fifteen years in constant combat and as Pakistani Air Force responded to Indian aggression on February 27, such operations were carried out for the Pak Air Force have become the norm.

Former Air Chief Sohail Aman added that the coordination of Indian forces is also bad. During a counterattack by Pakistan on February 27, they killed their own Mi-17 helicopter in Bokhlahat. In comparison, the coordination between Pakistan's armed forces has improved.

I have not seen the above interview until, but boy, does the ACM give it some welly(as we say it in the UK ) to one of the IAF and potentially the other one !!

IAF may have the new toy in town et al the Rafale, but do they have they have skills to get the best out of the platform? History suggests, that they wont be able to. The demands on fighter pilots is increasing with each generation, now a modern pilot is more of an information processor/decison maker than a by the seat jockie, and this is therefore the era in which India's short comings will become more exposed and make them more vulnerable to the PAF.

Only Russia and USA can say they make 100% fighters in house other wise even French Dassault and SAAB of Sweden source most of its parts from all across the globe or the Eurofighter is actually a multi national fighter made with three European Defence and aviation giants who are all in making fighter and jet and aerospace /defnce technologies for almost 70 to 80 years HAL-ARDE-ADA-DRDO are infants as compared to them in both money and material and experience


as for chinese made and PAC kamra assembelled FC1 or fierce dragon or so called Joint Fighter 17 with a russian engine called RD93 well it itself is a hotch potch mix of stolen US DSI tech put together by EX soviet ukranin engines on work compiled by chinese on abondenned EX sovied Single seater Mig29 called Mig33 and its mixture with abondenned Sino US Super & programme
