Tejas FOC Delayed by another Six Months

.
Not by America standard. In America IOC can only be achieved when a squadron of at least 10 planes is available.

The F-35C still has yet to achieve so-called Initial Operating Capability (IOC), when the first squadron of 10 aircraft and their crews are trained, equipped, and ready to fight.

In India a plane can achieve IOC when the first prototype has completed first test flight.

By India standard Su-57 has already achieved IOC.
What a dumbass....
IOC and FOC are certification for the quality benchmarks... Where does number come from??
Even if 10 planes are required for IOC ( according to you) then that's have already been done... Sp 10 has been delivered... Update yourself

SP-10 has not been delivered. The crew are not trained. The equipment are not ready. Anyway, Tejas IOC declared before anything was ready.

JF-17 only achieved IOC in 2010 when the first squadron of 10 planes were delivered, the crew trained, the equipment ready.

You are a lier... You are changing stand...
In your previous post you told that sp10 will not take off this year... You lied... As sp10 had its 1st flight recently and is in the process of getting delivered...
And if the crew is not trained then how are they managing the squadron of 10 planes in salur...???
Now coming to jf... There was no official announcement of IOC or FOC for jf...
You are lying and you have been caught

Here is an interesting thing, few years back, friend and I had a bet, I bet LCA will have FOC in 2020, and he said no, the pool is 1000RMB````so in this case, I'd really hope this will be the LAST delay`````or I have to say ByBy to my 1000RMB````

anyway, thing changes when time change````it could be an "OK" plane if they had managed to finish it in early 90s, but in today's air battle landscape, LCA is even worse than target drone aircraft that China and U.S has

This ioc is different form other Ioc - initial operational clearance

Even though its not a JF-17 thread, but would like to know, what were the capabilities of JF-17 when IOC was achieved, and has it achieved FOC as well? What were the capabilities required to be fulfilled for IOC as well as FOC.

The usual standard for IOC is a minimum of 10 planes (forming 1 squadron) delivered, crew trained, ready to fight at a moment's notice. In the case of JF-17 this was the case. In the case of Tejas IOC was declared without a squadron ready, so it was a first in history.

Typically IOC are announced, FOC are not announced. IOC and FOC are virtually the same. FOC is only for marketing purpose. IOC means the plane has at least 1 squadron combat ready.

And most of resident nationality members are? brilliantly insightful?
Yes.. because their motivation is geared towards positive discourse and invested in bettering their country. Whereas most that make an account from across the border make it with pure venom and spite just to come here and demean Pakistan in whatever way possible.

How is motivation towards bettering their country rooted in breaking India into pieces, general hatred of Hindus (including your own), gloating over poverty, and usually just a host of expletives for Indians.

to me, Filth begets filth.

and in to be specific the shift in admin to push narrative instead of discussion, has visibly lowered the quality here. The ones who know it, won't own it.

The first paragraph doesn’t occur when discussions are between Pakistanis. There is no common hatred towards local Hindus, tag anyone and they dont express it. Where they do it against Pakistanis, they get rapped for it.

The expletives only begin because filth increased, representative or not of India.. it increased. We can have the chicken or the egg argument but it is what it is. As soon as the wave of extremist hatred from India and associated trolls die down, so will the aggression.

As for narrative, there is a purpose to combat the constant hatred and negative fake news coming from external media regarding Pakistan and it has to be combated. We have complete anti-Pakistan members who just happened to be born in Pakistan here as well, who hurl abuses at team in other platforms but dont have the spine to do it publicly and yet post here; NO other forum tolerates that.

This forum and staff were on their own and in assistance partially responsible for pushing social change against VIPs, against sectarianism, against sympathetic elements for TTP and IS.. and will continue to do so. There is more in the pipeline to push a narrative.

Otherwise plenty of chai-room type forums to discuss things.
