Tejas far behind competitors, not enough to protect Indian skies: IAF

.
I'm still surprised on how so many Indian fanboys insist that the Tejas will replace the Mig 29K as their carrier fighter ...

First of all IN has changed their mind and said that they will use only twine engine plane for carrier. So tejas is dropped a long back. Correct your information.

Yes it can. IFR probe integration is underway

Rejecting something considered to be best by world is not new for IAF or IA. They evaluated world's top planes and rejected them. They rejected f16, F15, Saab Gripen, Mig 35 in technical evaluation. They are not satisfied with PAKFA. They do not want even PAKFA. So it is not surprising that they reject tejas. They have the options. They want rafale. so they are not satisfied with even Euro fighter. They do not have the compulsion to choose from whatever junk is available so they keep rejecting even F16, Gripen and even F15. No cheer leader need to very happy about the news. Had those [planes which are used by your air force are offered to IAF, they will not even look at those planes. IA rejected all the world's best rifle in technical evaluation saying that they do not meet their requirements.

Tejas is indian J.U.N.K

The IAF know it, they were forced by the government to accept 123 fighters and nothing more

They want to scrap the programme and move on but government ego and lack of understanding is forcing this flying turd down the IAFs throat

.
Documents accessed by India Today reveal that the IAF has told the government that the “endurance” of Tejas in combat is just about 59 minutes as against 3 hours of Gripen and nearly 4 fours for the F-16. Also, Tejas can carry a pay-load of about three tons against nearly six tons and seven tons by the Gripen and F-16 respectively.

The IAF has also said Tejas needs 20 hours of serving for every hour of flying.

The cost of maintaining the Tejas is much higher than the other fighters. Also, both the F-16 and Gripen has a life-span of 40 years against just 20 of Tejas.
after 30 years of this project if the situation is like this then I must say this is f**k up project in whole new level :sarcastic:

It is still enough to deal with our main adversary who is operating lot of jets which is inferior to tejas

. . . .
Not really

Tejas is just too rubbish, has too many problems and shortfalls and service times are atrocious for a modern fighter

The IAF know what a headache this plane will be for india they want to drop it and given countless hints but fanboys and hindutva politicians and government just dont want to accept it
Because it is the "indigenous"o_O fighter, for ego they don't want to drop it even though its become a white elephant so big hindus could worship it as a god.
No substance only trolling
