main problem with lca teja is that it is over weight and the engines arent producing good thrust as KRAIT pointed out in one of his earlier post the ejection seat that is fitted in teja is same as that of mig-29...HAL has tried to reduced its weight washing off all the paint job on it but that not brought about any significant change........Indian pilots have also proposed that ejection seat should be removed from the airplane all together and a provision can be made for the pilots on the floor of the pilot compartment.....this will not only solve the thurst to weight issue but will also make the cockpit user friendly.
Another thing that indians pilots have suggested is that control stick(danda) should be replaced with scooter like handle....another step that will give the indian pilots a home like feeling while flying in the hostile airspace of china.
