Tehran bans dog walking in public spaces

Those r feral dogs Sonny not pets and if gov would irritate people like this it would force many of em to abandon there dogs thus increasing street dogs and the accident u r talking about

Those feral dogs you mention are many a time foolishly fed by the residents of some neighborhoods. When the city corporation sends trucks to catch street dogs in an area those foolish people fight with the dog catchers.

It is such people who should be punished because they are creating danger for the rest of the population.

The best solution would be for dogs to simply be put on some island for dog lovers to visit.

I am sure a cat can be walked - some even walk with you if they are hungry and want some food.

Here issue is of pets
if my pet dog bites someone one I would be responsible so I would be careful but if I abandon my dog then I won't and here gov policies would force people to abandon as it's trying to discourage dog ownership sonny

by my experience , dogs are fearful animal not that brave unless they are shepherd dogs.
you can easily make these dogs you see in cities ran away just don't harm them , they fear you and they escape but if they feel pain they attack you.

well let me tell you what they do, they do as they always do,it's not the law its just Tehran General prosecutor order to police force . if they want to enforce it , one wealthy guy just hire several attorney and go to Administrative Court of Justice . this happened before on searching machines for music cassette and the result was clear there was and is no law against music cassettes and the guy won and when was the last time anybody heard they arrested some body because he/she had any music cassette ?(there is no law against the walking your dog in street or driving with it in your car , but there are parks that have no Dog is allowed warning , now if you take your dog there I'm certain they can find a punishment for you and be assured nobody will object to that)
Its just a temporary phase that i'm certain nobody care about , several year ago there was the same orders and they even killed several dog in front their owners and the result the backlash was so severe that they had to stop it and reprimand the ones who did it.

I have dogs in our apartment (our neighbours own) but it is reported they bite random people especially children so they are dangerous and not suitible for public places.

On the other hand cats very very rarely bite people in the public places.

I don't know what type of dogs they have in your apartment but a question have you ever asked what those children did to the Dog when it bite them ? as I said if they feel pain they attack and honestly we wont teach our children not to harm animals , we even encourage them to do so .
when we kill sheep and hens in front of children when we kick cats and dogs .....
I say if those dogs attacked children then there is far higher chance the guilty party is the child than Dog or better say the children parents that never taught the children how to treat animals while in our religion we clearly forbidden from cruelty against animals even we encouraged to be humane when we deal with them.
