TEDx Tehran

Probably most of you guys living in Iran aren't familiar with Ted Talks so read this wiki article plz.

It's an annual conference where scientists and speakers from all walks of life give speeches and share ideas. All sorts of people from presidents, billionaires, brilliant scientists... give speeches. The whole point of these conferences are to share new ideas or to share info about work being done on a particular field.

A few years ago the organization started TEDx. TED started giving licenses to third-party organizations to hold these conferences in different cities around the world and they must abide by guidlines set by TED.

My dad sent me a video of this speech given at a TEDx conference held in Tehran and I had to share it. I've been watching TED conference videos for years so this is super exciting for me.

Here in this particular speech, Dr. Nasrin Moazami makes a case for using algae as a fuel source.

This guy has the charisma of a door knob, but if you manage to not fall sleep during the speech, you'll learn a lot. Makes a lot of good points.
