On water Pakistan has annual Indus system flow of 145 MAF
for comparison California has 30MAF of water, Indian punjab has around 20MAF and nile is less then 50MAF
what do you think 'Saam" is.. extremely misuse of water leading to water table coming up to surface bringing along salt
We have drainage canals to fix the problem (lol instead of using less water ..weird isn't it!!)
Land records are pretty solid in Pakistan (thanks to British system of multiple records at tehsil, district and provincial level)
The issue is land grabbers by force..
Solution: keep the local SHO in your pocket
Now plots is different story you never get the land in your name (I e no registry) the land is always in the name of society you just get a stamp paper saying you have plot
That really is bad deal IMO. So I am not in plots

I bought NIO, and it wrecked me. Never buying Chinese stock again.

Land records also keep who is in possession of land (in addition to the owner) so when buying make sure you have possession handed over to you in papers as well as well you know how to read land papers /khasras
But Alibaba and tencent are solid companies and I expect them to recover in 3-5 yrs

Though quality of a PhD is really bad in Pakistan anyway
A master's in foreign country is way better then PhD in Pakistan
Though there are shitty universities everywhere in the world ..not counting those
