Tech Firms Flock to Vietnam

LOL ...Interesting, people of Communist Vietnam have more personal freedom than those of democratic Thailand.
Anyway, Thailand economy is more advanced than Vietnam. For example in automobile industry, tourism, hightech and suporting industries. That is something we can copy from the Thai. I admit they are good at.

yeah that is why I am interested in knowing which industry in Thailand has been shifted to Vietnam

In respect of personal freedom, the only problem with Thailand is their crime rates. Vietnam is doing better in this regard

Probably you are gaining much in labour intensive industry like garment

Vietnam declines in the ranking partly due to our slowing growth rate...and because

Vietnam - 62nd

Vietnam has moved down nine places to 62nd in overall Prosperity compared with 2009.
The country has declined fourty seven places to 92nd in the Social Capital index since 2009, due to decreases in perceptions of social support and in donation rates.
The Entrepreneurship & Opportunity sub-index has risen fourteen places to 68th, since 2009, because of increases in internet bandwidth, mobile phones per 100 people, ICT exports, secure internet servers, alongside decreases in start-up cost.

This decline over five years is, in part, due to the addition of 32 new countries in the 2012 Prosperity Index. In this instance, 3 of these new countries placed above Vietnam.

aint matter as long as the FDI is rather impressive in recent years from japan

The current FDI inflow is just small money if the Thai realize the biggest ever investment in Vietnam: a $30bn refinery, capacity of 660,000 barrels a day, creating some 130,000 jobs! I believe to begin loving the Siamese.
