Tang Dynasty sword: One of the most ferocious battle knives in ancient China, father of Jap samu

. .
The end of the Tang dynasty was due to rebellion within the Tang empire
On topic.. about the sword.

I don’t know what’s all the whining about.

It’s a known fact that Chinese civilisation is the mother of all orient.

. . .
It was a minor battle and tang army soldiers was a fraction of Tang forces at talas, the rest being Qarluk mercenaries.

What collapsed the Tang was when An Lushan made his move.
The repercussions weren’t minor bro..

The Abbasid victory gained them Central Asia.

. .
Resulted in Abbasid victory and end of tang?
Abbasid didn't cause the end of Tang, that was much later and by rebles. An Lushan's (Yan dynasty) rebellion weakend Tang but it managed to recover decades later, even after millions died. Though the central government became weaker.

Despite some battles between China and Arabia, it didn't sour long term relations and diplomatic relations continued. Caliph Abu Jafar Al-Mansur sent 4000 troops at Emperor Suzong's request to support in retaking Chang'an (Xian) during An Lushan's rebellion. Afterwards the Arab troops were settled in China.

Hui people are of varied ancestry, many directly descending from Silk Road travelers and expatriates. Their ancestors include Central Asians,ArabsandPersianswho intermarried with Han Chinese. Several medieval Chinese dynasties, particularly theTang, Song and Mongol Yuan Dynasties, encouraged immigration from predominantly Muslim Persiaand Central Asia, with both dynasties welcoming traders from these regions and appointing Central Asian officials. In subsequent centuries, the immigrants gradually mixed with the Han Chinese, eventually forming the Hui.
