Talking with Pakistanis

There is no friendship b/w Pakistan and india ...and wont be any in future

if you doubt that then listen to modi election campaign addresses and you will exactly know why there cant be any friend ship...

Even through the Cold war we made several deals with USSR, and they with us. We were not friends.

The problem in this theater is the existence of self defeating 'absolutes' on Kashmir, which not only blocks any deal making elsewhere, but hurts Pakistan more so than India. The calmer minds within the Pakistani diplomatic and civilian administration circles also lament this hurdle.

Also, there are some real fears that don't get much play in the media. Like- IF through some miracle India were to give up everything, there still would be a few terrorist groups within Pakistan that will not rest till their 'Qua-ish' of taking over Hyderabad or some other state within India is completed next.

Groups like the LET will change its charter from Kashmir, rename itself to Ghazwa- e-hind or something, and continue its attacks in India. If you think these harden groups are going to be packing up, you will be fooling yourself.

The best solution is calling it a day and accepting current boundaries on both sides.

I think both regimes fundamentally realize this. The problem is that they stir up emotional rhetoric among the masses to translate that into votes, political agendas, and financial initiatives that benefit a few. If both people could take a step back, and analyze the situation from a neutral perspective, it would definitely remind them of the North - South Korea stalemate. In that scenario as well, one country has taken off economically while the other is stuck in the past and haunted by it's own self created ghosts. I wish the best for Pakistan's future, but destroying India or "reclaiming" Kashmir I'm afraid is not part of it.

If I were to put myself in India’s shoes and think about how to deal with this niggly problem of a much smaller neighbor pulling some terror stunt every now and then. The result I would reach would be to impress my greater size on the much smaller country. Remind it of the disparity between him and me. That would mean to further increase the gap in economic and military might between the two countries.

India should continue with economic progress, notwithstanding the occasional terror incidents. The far greater Indian economic power would make it a bigger military power as well. Which in turn will force Pakistan to get better economically, which means higher wages for its people, greater exports, more productivity etc. In short this pressure will make Pakistan a more “proper” country. One that strives to make the lives of its people better instead of doing cheap terror tricks in other countries.

The Pakistani Operation of a 1000 cuts in the quest for Kashmir not only spoiled a friendship which could have been a example in the world but also destroyed its own country internally.

As if Pakistanis give shit about Indian friendship over Kashmiris.

Talking with PAK means inviting PAK to attack on India more, its happens every time . Its better not to talk ...

My solution to Kashmir problem; India should give muslim majority Srinagar valley to Pakistan, but retain Jammu and Ladakh. After that we can all be friends. With that said, the UP/Ganga people of India have a serious dislike against Pakistanis since time immemorial.

It was the UP/Ganga people who forced the British to ban Punjabi language. The "sardar jee" jokes also come from the same region. And UP/Ganga region rules over India.

yaa , and also need to take all muslims out of india also to pak.... can you take all muslims back?

.
Now it's irrelevant to talk with Pakistan. Kashmir issue no longer exists for us.we should try to get Azad Kashmir or declare LOC as IB. And just ignore Pakistan.
well please we welcome shitty india to try (GAY HIND) and LOC TO IB HAHAHA all indians are same JOKERS :omghaha::cuckoo:

Nope. The locals have had bad experiences with them in the past, and we're not big enough. But we'll take Punjabi and Sindhi hindus back any day. With Sikhs, I actually want a free border travel in the future. Their holy sites lie in Punjab, hence they should be offered visa on arrival, when things get better.

Speaking of taking back Indian muslims. Well, the princely states of Junagadh, Hyderabad and Bhopal can always remerge with us. I mean after all, their royal families opted for Pakistan. just like Kashmir's did for India.

you are right but what if the country with greater size is more involved in such cheap tricks than the smaller one take my advise search boy search you will know the problem that smaller one was never an issue

Indians long time dream is to completly merge IoK with India. Which is not possible if IoK remain disputed. Basically Pakistanis are not in hurry to solve just for better friendship. So IoK will remain disuputed and muslim majority state. And India will continue to need over 700.000 army to control few millions.

Better ties with India was never considered since 47, especially over IoK. I agree Pak can't get it back by force, numbers are not in our side. But giving up mean Kashmiri muslims will become 3rd class citizens in their own land when hindus from far away lands settle there.

So Pakistan will continue to make sure Kashmiri muslims do not become Palestinians 2.0 no matter what.

I think Kashmiri nationalists themselves want independence from both Pakistan and India. The real losers in this whole conflict are the Gilgit Baltistanis, who are not even Kashmiri but forced to put up with them.
