It wouldn't make sense to judge American foreign policy and the āchār-vichār of all their locals from comments under Tucker Carlson's show. Many people here only know of Afghanistan from the Taliban-Islamist lense, which is not necessarily the whole story. Indian government ought to take the needs of the people of Afghanistan in consideration.

Random tangent on Afghanistan: It has historically true that what is now Afghanistan have had good relations with India; until the forceful Ismalisation. Vajpayee had a good speech on his visit to Afghanistan and the positive experience he had there, during the communist times I think. If India could have built an equivalent of the Great Wall of China (what a great blessing that would have been) to keep the barbarians out, at the right time (c. 7th century), somewhere north of Kabul would have been the right place.

Khyber pass not kabul... easier to fortify and defend, Kabul is very much a part of the Afghan landscape
- their was no such thing as great wall or even fortifications because their was no such thing as india, it was the kingdom of Rajputs (Pakistani ones)
those kingdoms treated Kabul as part of their regular kingdoms, you dont defend against your own areas of control

Person to person contact I’ve noticed is also one of warmth and love from afghans to Kashmiris in the U.K. .
