I maybe wrong, but I am sure people of Pakistan will tire of all this turmoil and give no heed to these people who are bent on putting Pakistan in a spin and settle the issue to their satisfaction.

I wonder if Pakistan will close the route to the ISAF. Pragmatically observed, Pakistan requires the financial and military assistance of the US and without it, it might be difficult.

eeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrr................this entire system of Democracy is a failure in Pakistan.....it may suit some countries but not all, and Pakistan has tried this over and over.....

We need a whole system change, whether it be the Chinese version of one party working towards a singular goal or an Islamic Khilafa, an argument for another thread........

With regards to Afghanistan, at least with a strong leadership, Pakistan can play its cards right, mine the border, cut off all trade and route for supply of all goods. Give the Taliban the heavy weaponry they require and see the death toll rise of ISAF, who will quickly bring that withdrawal date early......a nation which goes to War with goals of killing a single man and his organisation, only to fail miserably and retreat with their tail between their legs, just goes to show what a Superpower it is........nothing.......absolutely NOTHING George Bush had set out to do has been achieved.........

I never said Pakistan has "HUGE" (point out where i said that) amount of resources, and resources aren't everything that makes a nation! But we do have enough resources and potential to become stronger, but that's only if we get honest and patriotic leadership!

These roads and railways will give us access to markets in Europe, Central Asia, and will make trade easier with China. There are also plans of pipelines from central Asia through Pakistan and to China.

If you mean strategic, then yes it is strategic! Maybe that is why the USSR wanted access even control of Pakistan's warm water ports, or maybe that is why the Chinese invested billions of dollars in building Gwadar and Railways, roads connecting it to western China.

I thought i wouldn't have to spoon feed a military "professional" like yourself and you should at least have done your own research but i guess not.

They are spreading hatred against the same Pakistan who save their a$$ from Soviets, they welcome our enemies inside their territory. Be a Pakistani & think for your brothers who have same motherland Pakistan. Muhajirs love Pakistan no matter what any one says, we don't take our money to India or spread hatred for Pakistan. i agree 100% with what you said and i only replied to Karachite's post, but you have to look both sides and not just one!! I've met many Afghans (in Pakistan, and in America) and most of them who grew up in Pakistan don't hate it, in fact they consider it their country just as much as Afghanistan. Yeah there might be some hypocrites, back stabbers, and criminals but we Pakistanis tend to remember the bad things more than the good things!

A lot of the jobs that you and i might hesitate to do are done mostly by Afghans! I remember a few years ago the sewage pipe was clogged in my neighborhood and the stench was soo strong that you could smell it 3 blocks away, and a Afghan guy went underground and fixed the problem! These people are hardworking people who worry more about their bread and butter rather than kidnapping, and robbing (not denying the fact that some Afghans are involved in such crimes, but you can't label all of them).

But Muhajirs were the one who sacrificed everything they had and came here for the love of Pakistan. Was it Muhajirs who introduced drugs, weapons and terrorism to Pakistanis? I didn't know Muhajirs badmouthed Pakistan as well. I didn't know they didn't believe in the border separating India and Pakistan. And about terrorism and assassinations. We all know which ethnicity is more inclined towards terrorism. A word of advice don't talk about stuff that you don't know about.
And then they say we are the ones who are racist and always play the ethnicity card. But again it's not the first time you showed hatred towards Urdu Speakers. Your ready to insult your own countrymen for some Afghans.
