Taiwan TV street interview : What will you do if China invades Taiwan? "I'll surrender"

. .
Is that the net change or the decrease in the Hong Konger population that didn’t agree with the change in Hong Kong in the last few years.

Planes from Taiwan conducted bombing runs on Shanghai as late as the 1960's and flew over Xiamen as far as the 1980's. They only stopped because the balance of air power started tilting towards mainland in the 1990's. I'm happy to use whatever means to unify the country from an American puppet regime on the island. The faster Taiwan's resistance is crushed, the fewer the civilian casualties.
In addition to the bombing of the mainland, there is also the blockade of China coastal shipping and the Taiwan Strait with the help of the CIA and the USN seventh fleet operating nearby, for about 30 years.

Now you know why China don't like foreign warship in Taiwan Strait.
The guanbi policy (Chinese: 關閉政策; lit. 'closure policy') or closed port policy (Chinese: 閉港政策) was a military blockade policy of the government of the Republic of China (ROC) against the Chinese Communist Party (CCP) in the Communist-controlled Zone and later, the newly-established People's Republic of China (PRC). On 18 June 1949, ROC Government announced the aerial and naval blockade policy along the Chinese coast from Liao River to Min River area starting on 26 June.[1] The application area was extended further southwest to include the Guangdong Province in February 1950.[2]
The Executive Yuan approved another Emergency measure to ban the activities of domestic vessels, crew and the owner companies to the People's Republic of China (PRC) on 16 August 1950.[3], and the complete naval traffic blockade measure on 12 July 1962.[4] Moreover, the Kuomintang government extended the privateering on the foreign vessels regardless even in the international waters.[5][6]
New York Times reported that 67 foreign ships were intercepted by the ROC Armed Forces from September 1949 to October 1954, with half of them being British vessels - 141 incidents of interference as per British official statistics.[7] The Western Enterprise Incorporated (WEI) supported by the Central Intelligence Agency acted a strategic role in the operations.[8][9]
Various incidents occurred with tragic ending of human lives and properties lost throughout the following years.[10][11] It wasn't until 12 September 1979, the naval traffic blockade status ended;[2] and the regulation on the vessels, crew and owner companies was abolished on 15 January 1992.[12]
When Taiwan has the upper hand militarily, it acted aggressively, but when the table is turned, it play the victim card.

I understand in absolute terms the change is minimal, but how many mainlanders moved in to replace the Hong Kongers that didn’t want I live under PRC rule?

Same in Hong kong, anti China bunch all fled, most of them went to UK due to some special UK policy to Hong kong, I wonder if recent UK's economic downfall got something to do with this. for China, it's a good thing, we can repopulate Hong kong with patriots.
Repopulate from where???
Last I heard China population is falling and it seeing literally a population collapse soon just like how Japan and Korea is facing a imminent collapse.

Recently Korea has opened up for immigration and so is Japan opening up as they aren't enough people

China still has 1.4 billion people, one fifth of the whole humanity, based on the worst scenario study and prediction, by 2100 China would still have over 1 billion population, there are more than enough people to repopulate Hong kong.

You don't get it do you.?
China can have 10b people it doesn't matter... what matters is ratio of young people to older people..and that's the problem
China problem is it has an inverted pyramid
It needs to get it population level to replacement level otherwise there will soon be more retirees then workers

Not that fast, China still has time to turn the tide, the main reason for China's low birthrate is the skyhigh housing price, it can be fixed by government policies.

China will build lots of robots and make extensive use of AI in every day to fill the void of human labour. There will be no worry short of manpower.

No not Ukraine. It’s Putin. he claims Russians and Ukrainians are same people, they share the same spiritual space. He wrote an assay about it just months as justification for invasion. He could never imagine Ukraine would resist Russia invasion.
Well, in your case it’s different. Chinese in China and Taiwan are same people. Just different in politics.
Comparing oranges with apples.

It is the young who move around, change jobs, create new things, fix existing things, and much more. What you are boasting about is actually terrible, not merely bad, news. It means that as long as the current trend continues, eventually China will be populated by senior citizens and robots.
