Just because you fanatics dont agree with me dont make me a troll.

It would be nice to see if KMT wouldn't care so much about their political campaign, but supporting the sovereignty of China.

We don't necessarily need the voice of pro-war, but having your patriotic suppport is always encouraging.

.
What can you expect from these KMT loosers? They lost the war with tiny CCP,now they cant deal with even smaller DPP. The only thing I wish from Taiwan is that they could lend us the biggest island (Taiping island) on South China sea to us as a military base. The rest the PLA can handdle it smoothly.By the way,its still nice to see Taiwan is on our side.

.
history is testing KMT again.
KMT used to be a loser, it can be a loser again if they can't handle this ongoing conflict correctly.

It's China Defence sub-forum on Pakistan Defence. We discuss military matters.

This is not China peacenik forum. No one cares about your "war is bad" propaganda. War happens. Deal with it.

For a bleeding heart, you are on the wrong forum. I suggest you move on to the Israeli forums and share your peacenik theology with them.

A Chinese submersible -- a small submarine that relies on a support vessel -- places the national flag on the seafloor in the South China Sea on June 29, 2010. According to the New York Times, this mission signaled Beijing's intention to take regional lead in exploring remote and inaccessible parts of the ocean floor, which are rich in oil, minerals and other resources.

The submersible -- named Jiaolong, after a mythical sea dragon -- has successfully reached 3,759 meters beneath sea level during a manned test. It is designed to dive to a depth of 7,000 meters.

Step #1: After eliminating Vietnam's primitive air defenses, "Rolling Thunder" for three months. Destroy every Vietnamese military base, barracks, arms depot, airfield, maintenance facility, fuel depot, etc.

Also, destroy every bridge, airport, sea port, railway system, communication network, large warehouse facilities, electric power plant, water pumping station, civilian airfield, granary stores, manufacturing centers, and other valuable targets to paralyze Vietnamese Army.

The Vietnamese Army now lacks mobility, war supplies, food supplies, water, ability to communicate, ability to coordinate, etc. They are extremely vulnerable and demoralized.

Step #2: Advance into Vietnam with ground troops. Upon encountering any large concentrations of Vietnamese troops, eliminate with heavy howitzer barrages. Follow with tank and infantry attacks that are supported by attack jets and attack helicopters.

Step #3: Every PLA soldier is free to shoot if they believe that they're in danger. Chinese Rule of Engagement: protect yourself. This is war.

Step #4: Argue about the Geneva conventions after total victory. Veto and ignore liberal complaints at the U.N. They're going to do that anyway. Simply point to the thousands of civilian collateral damage in Afghanistan and the tens of thousands (or more) of civilian collateral damage in Iraq due to NATO bombings. Their hands aren't clean and they're in no position to criticize.

Only a fool would advocate American-style Rules of Engagement. Under American rules, China will fare no better in Vietnam than the U.S. Army in Afghanistan and Iraq. That is a recipe for disaster and humiliation. Only deluded bleeding hearts think that building schools in an enemy country is a path to victory.

The strategy for victory is to rip the enemy country into shreds and let them pick up the pieces over the next 50 years. I guarantee that Vietnam will not be eager to pick a fight with China over the South China Sea ever again.

I forgot to give proper attribution to these powerful ideas. The "War plan for total victory" originated from Felix. It should be referred to as the Felix Doctrine.

Just curious what kinds and amount of warship could RO China contribute, should ROC decided to go ahead with PR China against Vietnam on Spratly?

Or just logistic help?

Republic of China has the world's 22nd-largest annual military budget at $8.5 billion.

Vietnam is ranked at 52nd with a paltry annual $2.4 billion in defense spending.

The United States is an effeminate military superpower. It has created the wrong impression among weak nations that military superpowers are all effeminate.

China is not an emasculated America. In 1988, the Vietnamese deployed 400 marines in a show of force and tried to seize "control of Chi Gua Reef in the South China Sea." This was a big mistake. Unlike America, China does not arrest foreign invading troops.

You cross China's Red Line. You die. 400 Vietnamese marines learned that hard lesson at the receiving end of Chinese 100mm and 37mm cannons on March 14, 1988.

"A small naval battle between the Chinese navy and Vietnamese navy for control of Chi Gua Reef in South China Sea on 1988-03-14. One Landing ship and two armed vessels from Vietnam and three frigates from China engaged.

By 08:47 AM, Vietnamese started to shoot at the Chinese soldiers who were trying to seize the Vietnamese flag on the reef. Then Chinese frigates shot back with 100mm and 37mm cannons. Anti-ship missiles were not used. Two Vietnamese ships sank, one ran aground, about 400 Vietnamese were killed, and 9 captured. One Chinese marine was injured."

I do not appreciate your blind anti-China propaganda. Try reading the description again.

"By 08:47 AM, Vietnamese started to shoot at the Chinese soldiers who were trying to seize the Vietnamese flag on the reef."

All of the Vietnamese marines were armed combatants. Vietnamese marines initiated hostilities. China took measures in self-defense. This is a war, not a police action. All enemy soldiers were eliminated in battle initiated by the Vietnamese side.

If the Vietnamese desired peace, they could have come unarmed. Since most (if not all of them) possessed guns and fired them, the Vietnamese marines were all legitimate threats to be eliminated. China successfully repelled a Vietnamese armed invasion.
