Taiwan is more Chinese than PRC China?

Well in Pakistan, we have always called China, "Chin", and Chinese, as "Chini".

If I'm not wrong Chin dynasty was a united Chinese nation. Don't know if China was ever known by any other name.

So, I suppose if Taiwan was a part of Chin dynasty then they are also Chinese.

Right? :undecided:

True, they are indeed Chinese as well as Mainlanders and HKers.

But the leader of Chinese is Mainlanders.

. . .
Taiwan is populated by Ethnic Han Chinese that settled the Islands during the Ming Dynasty. Taiwan is by far more Chinese than the PRC Mainland China, because they used the traditional script rather than the simplified version, they promote traditional Han culture like ancestral worship and Confucius Ideals. Many Taiwanese I met are more proud of Chinese history than there mainland counterpart but hate the CCP in Beijing. Taiwan used the phonetic script of Bofomo for computer word input (based on Hanzi-Chinese Characters) rather than the romanized Pinyin phonetic script encouraged by Chairman Mao. Taiwan's ROC government makes the same claim to the SCS (but shows respect ot their Japanese Masters in the Senkakus) as the PRC government. In-fact, the ROC claims that Mongolia is part of Mainland China, therefore they are more nationalistic than the CCP!

The OP lost all creditability and is considered a A-hole in my book.

Because PRC is running by the Chinese communism, only the Mainlanders adopt this ideology, if you want to run PRC, then you must adopt this ideology as well.

However, HKers and Taiwanese are still adopting the capitalism, thus they are unsuitable to run China. :coffee:

But is it possible that China could have a leader in the future from either HK or Taiwan, provided he is in line with PRC ideology?

Have there been any leaders that were not mainlanders?

Because ROC is still the slave of Japan, thus it is more suitable to OP's definition about "Chinese".

Sure, if they have really adopted this ideology well and are capable to lead CPC into a good direction, then why not.

But so far all Chinese leaders are Mainlanders, because most of HKers are still believing in capitalism, while Taiwanese are either pro-ROC or separatists.

So they are not capable to produce the leader material so far.

Hopefully, Taiwan will fall into Japanese sphere of influence as both Taiwanese and Japanese population uses traditional Hanzi/Kanji script and indigenous phonetics..

LOL, no way.

Using Traditional characters doesn't mean you are "more Chinese", that doesn't make any sense. In HK we use Traditional characters too, but I also like to use simplified characters from time to time. For example, my avatar picture uses a traditional character, while my signature uses simplified characters.

The ROC lost the civil war half a century ago. How can you represent China if you don't have China?

Pretty much every single location of historical importance in Chinese civilization (Yellow river, Zhongyuan, etc.) is on the mainland. If you don't have the mainland, you don't have China, simple as that.
为什么要使用简体字吗?

All chinese mainlanders are nice... except ChineseTiger1986 LOL.

Sure, all Chinese Mainlanders support this. :smitten:

In your dream, those Nippon-loving Taiwanese can leave Taiwan, while the Taiwan Island belongs to Mainland China. :coffee:

They gave way the Diayous when offered and sold outer Mongolia, PRC had to clean up their mistakes. The country they seem to like just blasted them with water cannons and denies their traditional fishing waters.

.........please don't fall into the trap...it's an obvious troll thread to try to stir up emotions and wrangles from both sides (mainland, tw) to hate each other

Chinese doesn't mean Han. Chinese are all the cultures and ethnics that comprise of it.

And to my understanding, the ethnic "Han" was created to describe a new culture and people that are the results of the thousand years of mixing of all the individual cultures and people (which/who are no longer can be clearly categorized from one another)
