As far as the bribes are concern its now a common practice every person takes and gives bribe . These kind of evil can only be root out but punishing the culprits with severe punishments. For making these kind of laws one need to be in Parliament Not on street with 50K people.

I think Pakistan is one those countries which has got highest number of statutory laws, yet there is lawlessness. Who will punish the culprit? Judiciary? police? anticorruption? prime minister? who? As far Mr Qadri is concern he is nothing but a stoog . He wont even win a single seat in elections. All this support he have right now is what the miracle money can do 500-2000/per person / per day . He is worst that these politicians because he is using religion to manipulate people. He is modern form of TTP . I have seen with my own eyes how he armed mob with tear gas mask, dandas , protective vests & gear to attack Police near Jinnah Hospital.

Yes I have also seen that after the debacle of Minhaj ul Quran. This group proved it self non-violent in PPP government also and they are proving it now since attack by police on them, They did come prepared against tear gas but what is reality on ground, they havent shown any sign of violence since last 4 days in Islamabad. They are more disciplined then the other crowd. you cannot have such discipline from mercenaries or rented participants.

I watched that video and it did not answer a single thing, it only verified my point of view. Now if you could instead quote your own studies, because TuQ's speeches are basically useless.



Okay, this was a major waste of my time.

20 mins in, not a SINGLE number, figure, fact quoted on the economic feasibility of his claims that spoke about in the beginning of the video.

Around 21 mins, he claims that no-one can dispute the figures he has. Let's see.

He claims that 5200 billion pkr debt in 11 months, as opposed to 6000 billion in so many decades. Which right from the get go, sounds like a load of horseshit.

Here's a chart that spans till the first quarter of 2014, so around April, only 3 months have passed since these figures were given. So he's claiming that somehow, the PMLN has racked up $52 billion more in 11 months.

Conclusion, he is either lying or has been lied too. One thing his for sure, his figure here is RIDICULOUS.

And then to claim that all that debt was all eaten up by corruption is another ridiculous and unproven claim.

Then he goes on to say that even investment is included in this debt. Which is silly.
I'd like to see how he plans on running Pakistan without invest, what a total farce.

Now he is talking about paying it back. Every country has a national debt. Here is the UK's:

Anyway, he is here taking pot shots, yet if I was there I'd challenge him. His so called plans for a welfare state will make that debt sky rocket exponentially. Mark my words, he's talking about debt, it's very hypocritical.

By 27 minutes in, he is talking about the GCI ranking, and undoubtedly on all sorts of rankings, Pakistan has fallen, or the rate or progress has fallen, a simple fact of the last 5 years of war, economic turmoil, political instability and mismanagement. But so far, not a SINGLE WORD on real practical steps to counter or change.

42:30, he now quotes 1000 billion PKR saving, how did he jump and fly from 19 to 1000? Completely farce, total and utter drama.

Tax, around 43 mins. tax leakage I agree with him on this, the tax net needs to evened out and widened and the PMLN's focus on GST rather than income tax and tax on other things is unnecessarily squeezing the lower end of the income scale as opposed to the other end, or evening and widening the total tax net. But again, no specifics, usual ramblings. But as for the current account, the PMLN has done well so far: Look here, it decreased the deficit rate, despite the war going on, despite the mess the previous government left behind and despite the instability.

And then talking about natural resources, you need investment, that's right Qadri sb, investment, you say that we could benefit so and so from making use of them. But last I recall you called investment = debt.

All in all, this entire video was a complete waste of my time, I learnt nothing new, and my previous suspicions proven right, he (TuQ) does not like talking specifics, probably has no plan for his pipe dreams.

My solution is the simplest, most effective, and will hold out, last the length of time. Reform ECP, force government to have an independent audit of some areas and re-election in areas where there was evidence of rigging.

Then let the PMLN complete their turn in government come hell or high water. You want democracy? Then use it properly, No successful democracy was formed off of one government in just 5 years, it takes scores of successive governments, parties evolve, the democratic foundations and institutions evolve and become stronger. Democracy, and by bearing the pain, people learn how to change and how to be the change they wan't governments to make for them.

My bet, I bet, that if Pakistan continued putting up with these bad governments, poor systems, and made the painful road to real change, they'd be FAR better off in 20 years, then if TuQ forced a revolution or if IK forced a criminal uprooting of an incumbent government.

His father, Dr. Farid-ud-Din Qadri was a very competent Medical practitioner, a top-notch religious scholar, a versatile poet and an exceptionally eloquent speaker. He was a spiritual leader and a great saint of his time.

Family Background

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-u-Qadri was born on 19th Feb. 1951 at Jhang, his birth was considered a blessing of Allah as it was foretold to his father; Dr. Farid-ud-Din Qadri. His ancestors belong to Sial family of Jhang. They were landlords of Kheewa Village, Chiniot Road of Tehsil & District Jhang; two of them being very spiritual persons, gave up all their lands and properties and migrated to Jhang (then Known as Maghiana) and D.I Khan respectively.
The first was Hazrat Mian Baha-ud-Din and the second Hazrat Mian Jumma Khan, the former was the great grand father of the learned Professor, Who devoted himself to Allah's worship; was a pious man, who had 5 sons and a daughter.


The eldest son was Hazrat Dr. Farid-ud-Din Qadri, the father of the subject of the sketch: Born 1918 at Jhang. He traveled worldwide for Arabic & Persian Literatures, Islamic Jurisprudence especially Tasawwuf, Graduated and specialized in Eastern Medicine from Lukhnow (India); was awarded gold Madel in 1940 from Punjab University; Studied at Lukhnow, Hyderabad (Daccan), Delhi, Damascus, Baghdad at Madina-tul-Munawara; was associated with Hakim Nabeena Ansari in Delhi and Hyderabad. He was speaker, poet, medical practitioner and a spiritual student of Naqibul Ashraaf Hazrat Seyyed Ibrahim Saif--ud-din al Gilani of Baghdad. He remained associated with Allama Dr. Muhammad Iqbal and worked with Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah in the Pakistan Movement; remained medical consultant to the King of Saudi Arabia, 1948. When he visited Saudi Arabia in 1948 and paid homage at Kaaba for the first time, he prayed to Allah in the late hours of the night to bless him with a child who could serve Islam and the Muslim World. Would earn his blessings both in this world and the next his prayer was heard. The Prophet (Peace be upon him) conveyed to him the news of Tahir 's birth in a dream. The Holy Prophet (Peace be upon him) himself named the child as "Tahir" in the same dream. Hazrat Dr. Farid-ud-Din died at Jhang November 2nd 1974, of the age 56.

Professor Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri had "baiat" with Hazrat Sayyedina Tahir Ala-ud-din Al-Gilani Al-Baghdadi. He is married and has two sons and three daughters; sons, Hassan Mohi-ud-Din and Hussain Mohi-ud-Din; Daughters- Qurrat-ul-Ain Fatima, Aisha Qurrat-ul-Ain and Khadija Qurrat-ul-Ain.

1989:

Lahore, Establishment of Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) a political party based purely on Islamic social & democratic principles. The declaration takes place in an enthusiastic gathering numbering a mass of hundreds of thousand.

Norway, Opening of Minhaj-ul-Qur'an Islamic Centre in Oslo.
Lahore, 10 points Unity agreement with the Fiqa Jafaria for promotion of peace, harmony and unity in Muslim Ummah.

Europe, Lecture tour and observation, supervision visit to UK, Denmark, Sweden, Norway and Benelux countries.
Middle East, Several series of lectures on Islam (Reflection of Qur'an / Islam in Focus / Horizons of Ramadhan) are broadcasted on UAE national T.V.

1992:

Lahore, First convocation of Minhaj-ul-Qur'an Islamic University with participation of delegates from various countries of the world.

Lahore, Dr. Tahir-ul-Qadri is the first in the world to present a "Practicable and Workable Scheme and Structure of Interestfree Banking" on the challenge of Pakistan Government. The address is viewed by a mass of hundred of thousands and eccoes in the media around the world.

Pakistan, Introduces a new PAT policy of leaving undeviouratic corrupt electioneering politics and aiming at an educational, socio-psychological & moral revolution in the society. 1994:

Egypt, The Bacholor Degree of Minhaj-ul-Qur'an Islamic University is recognized as equivalent to that of Al-Azhar University and exchange scheme commences.
Pakistan, Conducts hundreds of seminars all over the country entitled "Message : Love the Prophet (SAW)" with altogether millions of participants.
South Africa, Performs a unique historical tour with sincere success and results among different denomination and faiths. Wel-come reception includes the national TV and the Prime Minister of Kvazulu-Natal. Establishes a Jamia Islamia (Religious College) for African students.
Europe, Lecture tour to Denmark, Germany, France, Sweeden & UK with the opening of a grand Minhaj-ul-Qur'an Islamic Institute, London.

Prof. Dr. Muhammad Tahir-ul-Qadri is a man of Global Repute and Known as Ambassador of Unity, Peace and Human Development. All his life is devoted for the uplifting and development of needy, homeless and poor people.
