When I read news like the above I often wonder what would have been the fate of Pakistan had we been an ultra weak nation like Iraq, Afghanistan, Libya, Syria etc. Especially in light of the fact that the neocons back in 2001/02 publicly announced that they wanted to destroy Pakistan along with Iraq, Afghanistan, Syria etc. They were also giving the 100% backing of the ENTIRE West for india to initiate such a strike. As a Pakistani I sometimes find myself being frustrated at how other Pakistanis don't realise how lucky we are and how we have survived and prospered against impossible odds that NO NATION in the ENTIRE history of mankind has had to face for over 70 years. It's time we started appreciating our military, culture and unmatched resilience as a people.

Pakistan deserve a lot of credit for surviving an existential battle against a border state 6-7~ times it size with little outside support. If your country wasn't smart enough and had not developed nuclear weapons. Then as soon as you outlived your usefulness to the Americas (like today possibly)

the propaganda and regime change engines would have been all over you to try and split you up into pieces.

today it just confirmed once again that no civilized "international community" exists. no international law exists. its a lawless jungle where the most powerful set their own rules.
