The Sikhs made it clear they wanted to live with India, instead with Pakistan, followed by a bloody genocide of Muslim Punjabis in east Punjab by our "brothers".

If Sikhs have a good will for Pakistan. Then well and good. If they have issues with their government. Then its their problem. Why are we gonna be involved into it?

Do they want us to go to war with India for the Sikhs, and take territories of East Punjab under our influence?

I don't think any Pakistani would be willing to fight such a war.

What we can do, is have a more relaxed visa policies for Sikhs in east Punjabi. So we can have better trade with them.

And if Sikh in East Punjab are so much in "love" with Pakistan, then at best what we can do is let them migrate to Pakistan, and let them become Pakistani citizens.

That is what Muslims did when they were being butchered by Sikhs and Hindus in 1947 genocide. So why can't Sikh do that, when they have not even felt fraction of the pain of what their parents did to Muslims in 1947.


If you are not even willing to migrate to Pakistan to become Pakistani citizen, then don't expect Pakistanis to go to a war for you guys with India.

RangerPK bro, you are acting as if 1947 was somehow a honeymoon for the Sikhs. While Muslims were being butchered by Sikhs in east Punjab, the same was done to the Sikhs in west Punjab. It's wrong to say one side is at fault. All sides suffered from the violence. Both sides inflicted slaughter on innocent people.

As a Sikh, I would argue that Sikhs actually suffered more than both Muslims and Hindus because Sikhs who lived in west Punjab were living in the best and most prosperous parts of Punjab which at the time was west Punjab. 45%(and most prosperous) of the Sikh population lived in west Punjab and became homeless refugees over night. And most importantly, west Punjab is like holy land for the Sikhs. that is where the Sikh religion started and is what Hejaz in Saudi Arabia is for Muslims.
