Plebiscite ---- Pakistan chickened out & did not meet the standards set for plebiscite . Moreover J&K citizens vote in Indian elections .

Flags ----- cannot understand what you meant by that rant .

British ---- They left in 47 .

Religion ---- Religious demographics can be changed .

Look ---- There is no common Indian look .

No. We are laughing about a Kashmiri SEPARTIST, a known India hater, rushing to India for treatment. Other Kashmiris get treated at hospitals all over India, like any other Indian. This particular fellow doesn't want Kashmir to be part of India, and yet, when his own personal safety and well being is threatened, has no qualms about making full use of his Indian citizenship, which gives him the right to travel freely across India. It is only because he is an Indian citizen that he can travel to AIIMS to get treated at a govt subsidized, world class institute.

We are laughing because in the past, countries like USA and UK refused to treat him, because of his odious views on western civilization, and they did not want him hypocritically making use of western technology when it suits him, and therefore he got treated at Mumbai, where Indian doctors removed his ailing kidney and cured his cancer and kept him alive so far.

We are laughing because plenty of hizb-ul-mujahideen cadres have become cannon fodder to soothe his ego, and died horrible deaths at the hands of patriotic kashmiri policemen and RR, and this fellow is cynically making use of the resources and goodwill of the country he wants to destroy, to keep himself alive. The ''anthem'' of the terror group hizb ul mujahideen says ''Syed ali gilani ka ailan hai hum''. I wonder what their foot soldiers feel like, to see their ideologue rushing to India to save his own ***.

so u mean participating in election means that they support india?? by that logic .. kashmir has the lowest turn out as compared to all indian states .. which was about 36 % percent in 2008 .. so the rest 65 percent is not supporting india ... and one other thing is that ur army admitted to pay the politians and local elders to support india .. that voter turn out may be just becuase of the influence of paid politians

We don't have a single religion. There are 170 million non Kashmiri muslims in India, how come you don't want them to leave India on that basis? We have the largest population of hindus, the largest population of sikhs, one of the largest populations of muslims in the world, and very large populations of chrisitians and buddhists and others.

As for looks - Indians have a very disparate variety of that as well. A bihari or a keralite or a tamilian or a manipuri all look very, very different from each other. In fact a tamilian and a manipuri look much more different than a kashmiri and a himachali.

But nations (at least the worthy ones) are not formed on such superficial parameters. We are not crazy abouut people's relgions like you are, that is a personal affair, and the republic of India gives full freedom for anybody to practice any religion.

You can bleat about it all you want, but the fact is that as long as the Union of India endures, Kashmir will be part of it. Muslims, hindus, christians, parsis, atheists - it doesn't matter. Since you declared my post to be BS before even reading it (by your own admission), there is no point discussing with you. Keep living in your fantasy that all Kashmiris are yearning to be part of your country, which most people don't want to touch with a ten foot pole. These delusions did not help you in 1965, when you sent commandos in there in the expectation that Kashmiris will welcome them with flowers. They sent your commandoes to the local police station instead. The same mistake you made in 1999 when you thought a handful of infiltrators can spark a mass uprising in Kashmir. Instead, the infiltrators went back in body bags, and Kashmir remains Indian.

Since your modus operandi here is to parrot nonsense that has been shown to be nonsense for half a century, and you don't even read other people's posts before passing judgement, there is nothing to be gained in explining to you. To keep a long story short, Kashmir rahega hindustan.

The voter turnout in 2008 was 60.5% despite calls from Kashmiri separatists and Pakistan to boycott the election .
