Swedish high-level trade delegation to visit Bangladesh

Swedish Director General for Trade Teppo Tauriainen and Director General for International Development Cooperation Johannes Oljelund will lead the delegation.

The delegation will also include representatives from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Swedish National Board of Trade, Swedfund, and Business Sweden

A 13-member strong Swedish trade delegation will arrive in Bangladesh on Sunday in a 5-day visit.

The Swedish Director General for Trade Teppo Tauriainen and Director General for International Development Cooperation, Johannes Oljelund will lead the delegation.

The delegation will also include representatives from the Swedish Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Swedish National Board of Trade, Swedfund, and Business Sweden.

The main purpose of this visit is to discuss the broader relations between the two countries. The delegation will have meetings with officials from Ministry for Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce Ministry of Finance, and stakeholders within the trade and development sectors.

The delegation will visit several projects funded by the Swedish International Development Agency (Sida) in the country.
