Pakistan Kashmir policy should be aggressive. It cant happen under this government. Nawaz gave a statement for public consumption. He was shaking inside as he has business interests in India. He does not want to harm those. Business and family interests come first.

I didn't knew Nawaz Sharif was handling Pakistan's Kashmir policy. When did this happened?

What Ms Swaraj hasn't mentioned is the widespread support that Mr Wani enjoyed during his life
and AFTER his death.

If indeed Mr Wani has all that support evident now, then there is little basis for the rest of her drama.

I wonder, Why nobody in Pakistan dared to utter this argument to condemn Uncle Sam when it mercilessly hunted down OBL right in your backyard.

India have forcefully occupied Jammu & Kashmir, and people of this region want Indian forces to quit. They are seeking freedom from Indian occupation.

Nawaz Sharif is under pressure to quit and he has found raising Kashmir issue as his way of deflecting that fire and avoid to be dethrone. 2008 and 2010 was much worse than this and we managed. I don't see any issue with us not getting through this time. The terrorist are at all time low, there are reports that they are not only short of guns but also bullets. When a war comes towards end desperate measures are utilized. Burhan Wani for lack of word was Chu**ya, senseless stupidity led to his death and he also led others in same direction. Everyone wants fame and some more than others and when you do not have anything positive to contribute becoming a terrorist becomes attractive. The macho man he was trying to show was crying and pleading for life before he died.

Pakistan does not have the capacity to make any impact in Kashmir. Add to it West is least interested in this issue for many reasons. One of the reason is not to have another reason of uncontrolled terrorist.

Pakistan does not have resource and Kashmir under them will be disappointed.

Hypothetically assume they get it, they do not have money to invest in Kashmir, Azad Kashmir hardly has anything. Kashmiri will lose all their importance because now their wish is granted they will have nothing to complain. Kashmir will be populated by Punjabis and soon their identity will vanish.

India will not let it go because of various reasons. It's the people of Kashmir to realize the reality and their life will be a breeze.

All the problems today is purely for them being religious brainwashed and thinking on religious lines alone.

Time to go bit further back:

Post Pakistan creation, one of the agenda that is pending is the the population exchange ...that only happened one way. There are lot of people who needs to be pushed to the Pakistani side as part of Partition deal and people who have love for Pakistan ...they need to be evicted. Either lay your allegiance to Indian Constitution in its entire and continue to do it even though it evolves or pack your bag. The entire state of Kashmir that legally merged with India should be completely merged and all temporary arrangement needs to be scrapped. People opposing should be sent to Pakistan.

Above should be the guiding principal of any engagement with Pakistan, a country which just fails to move on. Let them take people ....entire Muslim Population of India in the land which was partitioned.

It really isn't upto Indians or Indian government or Pakistanis or Pakistani government to decide where Kashmir belongs. This right is solely reserved for the people of Kashmir. Politics of rivalry has messed their life enough already. Although from the look of it Kashmiris don't like to stay with India at least.

you are wrong. Kashmir is part of India and there is nothing to decide. Pakistanis crying about this like their tail feathers on fire ain't gonna accomplish zilch. It hasn't for 70 years and ain't happening nomo. All this ruckus from Nawas Sherief and gang is to just show he still exists after Raheel and gang did a number on him and sent him to voluntary hospitalization.

Kashmir becomes a liability.

It is a liability for every ordinary pakistani, had it not been for pakistani fouj's self interest, this issue would have been resolved years ago. There is no cost high enough for its top military leadership until it does'nt affect their hold of the land mass.
Pakistani political class somewhat realises this but its never going to be an influential enough to bring change. I think India should refrain from involving itself in this tit for tat statements and focus on actions on ground.
