Survey results: Who has been Pakistan's best ruler?

i can believe that ZA Bhutto is in 4th. Seriously. The guy who make possible to divide Pakistan into and give us gift of nationalization and because of that Pakistan never recovered economy wise is still in 4th place? He revised every single move done by Ayub Khan. It is time to wake up and see who hurt Pakistan the most.
Division of Bangladesh started in mid 60s. Bangladesh could have saved if Ayub Khan respect the outcome of election result and never interfere in Fatima Jinnah govt. Remember, Ayub Khan insulting remarks are still part of history about Bangali people. Later division was initiated when Indian govt and Mujib start talking about building any anti Pak movement in 1969 and also Indian gave guarantee for the formation of Mujib govt once Bangladesh is created. Separation of Bangladesh is spread over decade , it not happened in few years or month.
Beside Bhutto had personality issues. But, he did lot of best things for Pakistan, a nuclear power, steel mill, prisoner of war etc were his greatest achievement.

Who is the best so far - Ayub Khan. By a very long distance.

Zia mureeds are worse than bhutto mureeds. The support for zia is purely because of religious conservatism - no other reason. Zia mureeds will always have a very soft corner for anarchists like taliban, daesh and alqaeda.
During Zias rule deobandi schools increased 200% despite being a minority sect. He is fully responsible for siachin loss and held a fraud referendum the same year. From Ojhri Camp to bringing the most corrupt politicians in power his mureeds only love him for religious reasons and will support extremist groups for same reason.

Bhutto destroyed Pakistans economy but he did start the nuke program denied by ayub khan back in 67. Bhutto was no democrat but a dictator. But his hanging was purely political as yahya khan was given a funeral with full military honors by zia despite being hugely responsible for east pakistan debacle.

Ayub khan - his treatment of fatima jinnah the mother of the nation speaks volumes about what he was. Massive development took place in his era and it was the most peaceful time in Pakistan.

Musharraf - just three words - drones and nro.

Ahead of the 70 year anniversary to mark Independence, Dawn.com asked its readers to rate past rulers of the country based on their time in power.

Brother trust me, it was Bhutto who made this possible i have sources of that time who give me a clear picture and it is Bhutto who first make Pakistan weak after 1965 war and he work on foreign agenda with guarantee in return that he will become PM of remaining Pakistan.

When it comes to NRO...did musharraf have a choice? If he had a choice at all he most likely wouldn't have pulled off the NRO.

NRO also proves that the narrative of an all-powerful establishment is false. Civilians were able to tell a dictator to comply and come to a compromise

I think, Gen Ayub was the best leader of Pakistan after Quaid e Azam and Liaqat Ali Khan.
