There are other companies in Pakistan also like SATUMA based near Isb, Pakistan into drone production and services, supplying to forces as well.

SATUMA
SURVEILLANCE AND TARGET UNMANNED AIRCRAFTS

SATUMA, prides itself on the development, design, and manufacture of UAVs (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles) for surveillance and other civilian applications. With over two decades of R&D and manufacturing experience, SATUMA is well poised to take advantage of the increasing global demand for unmanned surveillance systems.

SATUMA has the distinction of being the only company in the private sector whose products are formally inducted in the Pakistan Air Force and Army

UAVs in Pakistan

Interestingly, there are several public sector companies involved in developing UAVs in Pakistan, including the Pakistan Aeronautical Complex (PAC), Air Weapons Complex (AWC) and National Development Complex (NDC).

The PACs Uqaab drone is in use by the Pakistan Army, and, according to unconfirmed reports, is being upgraded with Chinese help to carry a weapons payload. Other PAC UAVs include the Bazz and Ababeel. AWCs Bravo+ UAV is in use of the Pakistan Airforce (PAF). The PAF recently acquired an unarmed Italian drone called the Falco UAV, which is reportedly being used for surveillance and battleground assessments in the Federally Administered Tribal Areas. In 2008, the Pakistan Navy also reportedly completed trials of UAVs - the Austrian Schiebel Camcopter S-100 and Swedish Cybaero - from a Pakistani frigate in the Arabian Sea.

Similarly, The SATUMA lies 25 km out of Islamabad on the bank of river Soan with an engineering floor area of 5,000 Sq. ft. and a small airstrip for testing and evaluating scaled air frames, testing engines and other outdoor activities.

East-West provides alot of the sophisticated electronic devices that go into these UAVs to track terrorists. Today there is a growing ecosystem for robotics and UAVs, with work also being done on UUVs (underwater unmanned vehicles) and ground recon robots.

By the way, these Pakistani are doing pretty good job, as they were able to sell their UAVs to the US border patrol.

Here are few pictures of Pakistani Made Drones

The Nishan MK-II is seen here against the backdrop of Shadow and Explorer UAVs. The Nishan has a wingspan of over 9 feet and is considered a high-speed aerial target or decoy. Its range is limited to 35 kilometres.

The Border Eagle is a surveillance UAV that comes equipped with both a still and video camera along with a chemical monitoring module.

The explorer is one of two advanced civilian UAV systems, offered by Integrated Dynamics. It has a 20-kilometre range, equipped with sensors suited for scientific research programmes.

The Shadow is also a surveillance UAV that has a speed of over 200 kilometres per hour and can operate within a 200-kilometre range.

The Rover is a civilian UAV typically, used for electronic news gathering and rapid information relay.

ntegrated Dynamics also features ground station units that are used in combination with the UAV systems.

Pakistan desperately needs to invest in Radar,Jet Engines and chip designing sectors to compete with rest of the world.

Need to excel and progress in distinctive fields, knowing the strengths and weaknesses.

Into armored drones as well...here it seems it's a JV...

KARACHI: Pakistan on Friday successfully tested its first indigenous armed drone named Burraq, and its laser guided missile named Barq.

The drone has the ability to fly in all types of weather conditions and strike its targets with pinpoint accuracy.

Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif attended the ceremony and witnessed the test fire of the new missile on static and moving targets.

NESCOM Pakistan

Founded in 2000, the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) administers several Pakistani defense development programs, including the National Defense Complex (NDC) and the Air Weapons Complex (AWC). [3] NESCOM oversees a total staff of 16,000 employees(2011 figure) and its overarching mission is to promote Pakistani “proficiencies in nuclear and ballistic missile development and production” with a “focus on developing conventional military hardware for the Pakistani military and export markets.” [4,5] According to defense analyst Usman Shabbir, NESCOM and the NDC continue to drive Pakistan’s missile program as of 2008. [6]

Andrew Koch considers NESCOM’s establishment an indication of the strong priority placed on missile development in Pakistan’s R&D strategy. [7] Under NESCOM oversight, the NDC contributed to the development of the intermediate-range Ghauri-3 missile and Pakistan’s first cruise missile, the Hatf-7/Babur. [8,9] NESCOM also oversaw the AWC during the development of the Ra’ad air-launched cruise missile. [10]

Than there is GIDS...Global Industrial & Defence Solutions

PAKISTAN’S GIDS CONSIDERS DEVELOPING MALE UAV, medium altitude long endurance (MALE) design capable of carrying 4 AGMs

Shahpar-01-692x360.png

Global Industrial & Defence Solutions (GIDS)’ director of sales and marketing, Asad Kamal, told IHS Jane’s that the company is working on upgrading its Shahpar unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) and examining the notion of developing a new medium-altitude long-endurance (MALE) UAV.

As per Kamal, the upgraded GIDS Shahpur is being positioned to supplant Pakistan’s tactical intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) UAVs, namely the Leonardo Falco and EMT LUNA.

IHS Jane’s states that the Shahpur can carry 50 kg in ISR equipment, such as an electro-optical and infrared (EO/IR) pod. It has an endurance of seven hours and a line-of-sight radio data-link range of 250 km. The UAV “features a canard and swept-wing configuration with a pusher propeller, a belly-mounted gimballed payload, and a tricycle undercarriage.”

Kamal added that GIDS is examining the prospect of developing a MALE UAV. GIDS is currently waiting for information from the armed forces before placing the program in motion, but the company is intent on elevating Pakistan’s competency in UAV development and manufacturing.

Although Pakistan operates several tactical UAV systems, such as the National Engineering and Scientific Commission (NESCOM) Burraq armed drone, MALE UAV platforms such as the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation (CASC) CH-5 would be a logical next step. In fact, the Pakistani military was examining the Chengdu Aircraft Industry Group (CAIG) Wing Loong in June 2016.
