Supreme Court Pakistan and COAS Bajwa Extension: News & Discussions

Indeed.

Remarks are pretty strong by the CJP...this could get awry.

Maybe we will see the CGS as Army Chief tomorrow!

As per Attorney General of Pakistan if circumstances unusual (Means war like situation) extension can be given for 2 months as per rules.
Wow it getting to much complicated.

Too many more things come up from this Pandora Box in coming days! Now they amending constitution to make it legal mean in start it was all illegal steps taken by Govt and pass over constitution.
Sare Chunnu Munnu hain as per Doctor Dabaddoos. He didn’t mention but as per him for others.
IK a Chunnu Munnu ( mujhey tou pata Hi nahi thaa ) Mamnoon part two Alivi ( mujhey tou pata Hi nahi thha ) all cabinet special 11 who signed ( hamein tou pata Hi nahi thha )

Phir patta kisko thha? Bajawa Sahib ko?
Man this Govt is totally na ehel or IK want to run a one man show to do things over passing constitution.
Compliance of legalities is not responsibility of government but of bureaucracy. This is a result of failure of our systems which are decaying since past 5 decades.

1- The issue of suspension of retirement

2- The issue of extension as COAS. Whether it is an extension or a reappointment.

The rules are ambiguous regarding this as well.

Couple this with the procedural mistake by the government, things will be interesting tomorrow.

When does the tenure end? Tomorrow midnight?

No it was not mistake by govt. Law is not clear and whatever is there govt made decision thst is available to it.

This petition should not be entertained in first place rather SC will much be appreciated if they have taken soumoto to lahore court decisions.

may I know whats your real age?

I am afraid to tell you my age is not going to make much difference on your ability to answer a simple question..

As the study has shown, many toddlers like yourself with language delays have difficulty learning to answer questions. Common problems include:

  • Repeating or the last few words of the question rather than answering
  • Answering incorrectly such as shaking their heads yes when you ask them a question with 2 choices
  • Giving an off-target response such as answering, “Two,” when you ask, What’s your name?
  • Not responding or ignoring questions.

Very interesting. So, if Gen. Bajwa retires tonight, will the Government a new Army Chief tomorrow? Very unlikely!

Anybody wants to guess what CJP is implying here;

"
The day-long hearing was adjourned twice. The second time the court resumed proceedings, the chief justice remarked: "There is still time. The government should step back and assess what it is doing."

"They should not do something like this with a high-ranking officer."

The attorney general argued that the process was "nothing new". "Extensions were notified in the same manner in the past."

To this, Justice Alam responded: "In the past the court never stepped in to assess someone's extension in tenure."

The proceedings were adjourned until tomorrow."

Don't you think that there is something here...

For Justice Qazi Isa media is not allowed to talk about the case..

But for COAS this is a field day for MarasiMedia... all Marasiz are doiing their bit!!!

CJP could have asked for closed hearing... and gag on media considering the National Security of Pakistan...

It seems like Khosa has overreached his authority... and this is going to be very demoralising for Pak Armed Froces...

After daily attacks from Billo, FuzlaGangsters and NarcoLeague... and now Noora Judges are doing their bit...

Can Pakistan develop in this current Marasi Nizam?

By making The COAS slighted like this is a message to all troops on the LoC and on the Western Borders....

Even if they 'decision' of SCP goes in favour of extension... but this dragging through mud is going to have long term damage...

Now every tom, dick and harry is going to do petitions ...and any Noora Judge is going to drag the Pak Armed Forces in mud...

Hybridwar on Pakistan continues

CJP used this for political gains after judiciary was exposed for letting Nawaz go.

Eventually appointment will stand but it's also IK and his advisors, babuz and the AGP making blunders upon blunders over wordings on the appointment.

Why didn't IK ask SC for guidance on the appointment as constitution allows PM to ask SC for advise on any legal matters.

What's the ultimate goal of all this? I think it's to cause a rift between PMIK and COAS.

IK should have fired a lot people he was recommended to fire.

I am more interested in this. Basically, this lowkey implies that the law is indeed unclear on this issue, but because the court never got into this nitty gritty before, hence it was never taken up, until now.

Another thing which I am hearing is that the PM sent the summary of reappointment of COAS, while he can only send a recommendation.

It's become a clvsterfck.

CJP already said that making law is not our responsibility. So what guidance?

He said go and make law in other words

All could be ....

However, creating this public drama by the SCP is totally disgusting.... if Khosa was so for rule of law why didn't he showed concern on other matters of Public Interst?

PMIK and his cabinet doesn't have the skills to fight the CriminalEnterprise...

Show me a case in Pak's Judicial History like the bail hearing and bails for Noora?

Why didn't Khosa then woke up to take care of procedures...

Judiciary is exposed as component of CriminalEterprise and that is what it is.

By dragging the Pak Armed Forces in mud they are doing what Noora Narrative is all about.. What FuzlaGangsters were saying on their FuzlaContainer and what Billo says daily...

Judiciary along with this enitre Nizam stands discredited. Failure aglore!

Yup. It is the continuation of Mafia v State.

PM and Presidential Secretariats are at it alongside judiciary.

After Nawaz Shareef's safe exit, lets play out another drama to keep the awam busy and distracted from Kashmir. In the meanwhile IK will think of another ploy like human-chain, flash-mob, anger march etc etc to express solidarity with the cause. :frown:

PM can constitutionally seek advise from SC on any legal matter and process so that it's execution is constitutional.

SC can always says that this appointment requires constitutional amendment if there's no constitutional provision for it.
