PPP Government had killed what was left of SUPARCO, back when that runt-b@$t@rd Zardari was in power. You can thank the j@ck@$$e$ who brought him to power and voted for PPP.

Why ask higher ups, I know. Pakistan is so superior that even after loosing half the country they think our asses on fire for 70 years.

Despite your efforts(due to your numbers) that country remains with its inhabitants. Your *** has been on fire ever since we carved the original mata and repeatedly f’d you at every attempt and opportunity, especially recently where we humiliated you globally.

PRSS-2 with sub-1 meter imaging resolution, and a Pakistan Navigation Satellite System (PakNav). To drive both projects, the Gov't of Pakistan said it was setting up a 'Pakistan Space Center'.
Are these proposed or SUPARCO is working on these two project? A little clearance please Bilal,

Dude, Pakistan should not get into a space race with India and try and compete with Indians. The Indians have compared us to themselves for the past 70+ years and what has it gotten them? Nothing, but still they think they winning, to only go on the world stage and be humiliated by other countries. Any other country would not have lauded this failure, but the Indians think they somehow have won because Pakistan cannot send a rover to the moon... its Idiotic.

If Pakistan wants to develop a space program, it should further align itself with the Chinese. Like anything, you need a teacher and who better than the Chinese? Look at any field, Medicine, physics, metallurgy, Engineering, and ect. Name anything, you need a teacher to teach you... Honestly, Pakistan does not have the financial means to support these big projects. It does, however, have human capital and talent. Pakistan should change its educational system first and then develop relationships with Chinese universities to train its scientists. This mutually beneficial relationship will create a more robust system within Pakistan that is more sustainable for the future.

If you look at the Europeans and the jews they directly benefited from the space race between Soviets and Americans. There is a better larger race going on right now between 4-5 countries and if we can be part of that on the Chinese side we will benefit much more than building our own. The transfer of technology will be streamlined and much faster. Honestly, China is coming up with a lot of promising technologies and they are now starting to develop their own tech. Pakistan can learn a lot from the Chinese approach to technology and its incremental advancement. I truly believe that Pakistan can be part of that revolution and at this stage, there is much more to gain from the Chinese program then our own.
Dead wrong .. we compare ourselves to china. Chinese are miles ahead than us and we want to catch up with them. The only indians who compare themselves with Pakistan are those who are religious bigots, low iq'ed bhakts and Muslim/christian haters. Those people will soon realize how stupid they are.

My comment still stands and was directed towards Pakistan, not India. I am not dead wrong or else why would you separate the Indian society into two groups. Right now India is ruled by the "low iq'ed bhakts" and it is their voice that is the loudest. Not people like you. I am glad that you are "educated" enough to realize the schism inside your country but your numbers are very few and almost non-existent.

But my question to you is why compete with China? Why not try and catch up with the technological advancements of the Americans or Russians? I find it interesting that you personally have set your sights on the Chinese. Either way, I made that comment to explain a certain mindset that is prevalent within Indian society. The mindset that it is acceptable to be mediocre as long as you beat your neighbors. This mindset is certainly not conducive to technological growth and I want Pakistanis to change their mindset.

Alas, there might be some hope because at least there are Indians like you that want to compete with china from Australia, maybe one day you will beat China and set your sights on bigger and better targets. Then there will be a nice ethnic song from A.R. rehman and the intermission will que so that you can go take your shit on the side of the railway tracks.
You are right about the ruling morons and their followers. Unfortunately the opposition is a childish moron as well. We need a stronger opposition to overcome this sudden zeal of fake patriotism based on religious bigotry.

Regarding Chinese comparison, china will overtake Russia for sure no point comparing with Russians. And I would be happy even if india can achieve half of what china has achieved in such a short frame of time. To is following china sounds like the solution that might have some possibility of success. Unfortunately a lot of Indians are idiots.

It is true that China is advancing rapidly but just because it has 1+ billion people does not mean that all nations with 1+ billion will one day be able to compete with the Chinese. China's advancement has a lot to do with its socio-economic and political system. The majority of the Chinese are ethnically Han and are united under one political party. Socially, it has built a system that produces a workforce that is equally educated and is skilled in manufacturing. Technologically, China was not known to be original but now that is also shifting. A lot of American tech companies have back door deals with the Chinese and the Chinese are now building indigenous systems.
Personally, I hope India is able to compete with the Chinese because it will create a tech race that will benefit the masses but as a pragmatic person I don't forsee Indias ever competing with the Chinese.

Surely India is on a different trajectory than the Chinese. Unfortunately, people's comparison between China and India is misplaced. In all of history, the land that is called India has only been united a few times. Even then it did not last and people kept their cultural and religious identities intact. I disagree with you because religious bigotry and zealotry is not a new phenomenon in India. It is the cornerstone of Indian policy towards its "weaker" neighbors and minorities within its country. Let's not forget the pseudo-democratic principles on which the country was founded upon and the hypocrisy that both the BJB and congress have shown when dealing with dissent. If you look back at history, no country based on these principles lasted, let alone became the zenith of technological advancement. I personally think Pakistan can learn a lot from India. Especially from its mistakes and also from some of the foreign policy that it enacts. Otherwise, Pakistan should not compare itself to India because India is not the ideal model for political, social, or technological advancement.

Ah a sane comment on PDF. I agree india cannot compete in it's current outlook even in 50 + years. Personally I think India can only come out of this mess, if some really radical changes to the thinking of general thought process of the most common man.
The moment people start looking at everything based on religion, caste, language and other shit there IQ, EQ has already gone to the ground. Personally I believe a person can be religious in private but that should never be a reason for making decisions that affect others and the nation. In that regards I appreciate china in taking a hard stance on Uighurs. India needs same approach for all radicals whether the dung brained cow raksha or the muslim radicals.
At least the religious bigotry was not linked to being patriotic like now. It is almost as if if one isn't hindu and licks some leaders *** then he/she is not an indian. For the record I am an hindu and it pains me to see the nation taking all the wrong decision in the last few years.

SUPARCO has PRSS-2 on its roadmap.

As for PSC, it was committed to in the development plan for 2018-2019. In any case, because the PRSS-1 has a limited lifespan, Pakistan will have to replace it every 7 years. The replacement either comes from abroad at very high pricing, or we eat the upfront costs today and save money through the long-term with local development.

Last year, the armed forces decided on the latter route. If PSC comes to fruition, SUPARCO will be a major factor. I do suspect the idea is to migrate SUPARCO's satellite works to PSC, which might narrow SUPARCO's focus to more research, especially in space sciences. But satellites are a defence requirement (e.g., the PN is going all the way).
