We will definitely see Pak-Turkey together in MIlDEN sub project.

The German naval industry has a great commercial success in the Eastern Mediterranean. They have greatly used some inter-country crises very well in the past. For example, they sold almost all of the systems (that TN had during period) to Greece too after that made a difference in the Kardak crisis.

Some countries are making efforts to change this paradigm. In particular, France is making a very important effort at the government level. France is already one of the traditional suppliers of region, but recently they have started to use regional crises more effectively.

However, judging by the greater picture, it is unlikely to be able to create a complete independent foreign policy with foreign naval systems.

Now Turkey has embarked on a very difficult path in order to protect its national interests. Although significant progress has been made in surface platforms, we are still at the very beginning of the road in submarine systems. Large financings are provided to dozens of sub-project areas. In order to get the results of these, economic stabilization must not be lost. While in the past, Turkey was trying to maintain its inventory size, it now strives to both maintain its inventory size and advance its technological know-how. While purchasing foreign weapons, you can easily find financing from the relevant country, but if you want to progress in both areas(maintain military deterrence and indigenization of military industry), resource management becomes a process that needs to be carried out much more carefully.

They sold us Leopards,artillery systems,AA systems,MEKO A200 frigates,submarines,
rifles,machine-guns etc.

They've been making a lot of money out of both of us for 30 years. Greece had very good relations with the Germans, although we knew they always favored Turkey traditionally, but after their pro-Turkish stance during the last 3 years, that's when the French found the chance to offer us stuff.

By the way,did you know the German offer for the Greek Navy's frigate program, included two Type 214 submarines? But we showed little interest to them from the beginning for political reasons. They were offering two submarines as well apart from the frigates and intermediate solution.

Both Germany and France have foreign policy shaped around their own national interests. To be honest, an assertion that both states stand by another state is extremely erroneous. Power cliques in these states do not even prioritize the interests of their allies with whom they are in a union. Did you read last week's justified challenge from the Polish pm? Actually, Poland's problems are nothing. When it comes to money, things get even uglier. When the financial crisis in Greece became unmanageable, these states acted against the Greek people as if lost a war. This unfair treatment to the Greek people hurt even us and give us learn a lesson.

Therefore, our main point here should be the interests of the countries in question. Otherwise, today you blame Germany, tomorrow France...

Greece is one of the first customers of type 214. As a result, it is one of the two states that have the most problems in the maturation of this system, along with South Korea. Some of these issues even became a legal conflict area. Greece was the first user of this system, but it had to bear with it costs such as time and resources that did not originate from it.

On the other hand, Turkey wanted to produce this system with a different specification and a different production/supply function. Although the positive atmosphere in Turkish-German relations in the 2000s allowed these signatures to be signed, many problems were encountered that delayed the project for almost 10 years. Especially after 2016, Germany-Turkey defense relations came to a standstill. This has caused serious delays in many major programs, especially in Altay. The most problematic issue for TAF is not American logistics, but logistics originating from Germany. In other words, Turkish-German defense relations are not rosy as you mentioned here. We have much more reason to be angry than you. The rising opposition to Turkey in the German parliament is the most basic indicator that will refute your claim and reveal the extent of the difference.

For this paradigm to change, Turkey, Greece and even Egypt must succeed in launching their own military platforms with their own technological know-how and industrial capabilities. I personally believe that reducing external dependency can play an active role in regional peace. The biggest barrier is that, the hegemonic structures established in the post-modern world is that all military and security unions are basically programmed to protect the interests of these hegemonic structures. So It is not states that are our enemies, but these hegemons that manipulate states.
