They did have some plans, but future of aircraft carriers in Russia is uncertain, so - no proper info.

It's really a nice design for 4.5 generation plane.

Nope this is not the case.
Russia is the most open ended Arms market in the world along with the French.
It doesn't care what India wants or thinks. If you have money you can buy from them Upfront. Problem is they don't deal in Credit and Defense Aids that we are used to and we don't have money to buy these modern tech. In fact we just purchased Mi35 Helicopters from Russia.
Russia Sold S300 Surface to Air missiles Systems to Iran and Syria. While Buying Hefty Amount of Radar and Drone Technology from Israel at the same time.
Russia Just Sold S400 to India and Indian Mainstream Su30MKI Fighter is also Russian while Also Sold S400 and Su35 to its Arch Rival China and the main TEch hub that was the basis of Chinese Defense Industry for Decades. They also sold Su30 Flankers to Malaysia and Vietnam other rivals to China.
Selling S400 to NATO country Turkey, In Talks with selling S400 to Saudi Arabia.
If you have the money you can buy anything from Russia.
Indians just have a habit to overplay their role in almost everything(A Quality in which we also are equally matched to them if not less)
