Strong PAF participation in the Anatolian Eagle air exercise 2016

Another couple of shots from AE-2016. Is it me or has anyone else noticed that the twin seater seem to carry the National flag in full colour scheme while rest display the low visibility two tone grey.

Do these " 9-Stars " marked across Vertical arrow hv some significance other than sq sybmol ?

.
Why are we sending F-16 in exercises like this ? When will the time come for us to send JF-17 on international exercises.
These exercises are world class exercises and jets like F-16 can only take part.....
Though JFT is a good aircraft but there is no match of F-16 with JFT..
But not to worry JFT has taken part in SHAHEEN Exercises held in China.....

You will find that there are ''Eleven Stars'' symbolising the No 11 Squadron and it's call sign , ''Arrows''.
It's also worth noting that during their MLU programme, all the F-16s have now air refuelling capability.

Currently at Konya in Turkey for Ex Anatolian Eagle. Spent some time with the PAF's 11 Sqn 'Arrows' and its F-16s today.

The PAF has been tanking from a Turkish KC-135 for first time during AE. Flew five F-16s in last mission today.

Should we take advantage of it?
And induct MRTT with capability of Boom refueling?
Or Uncle Sam is putting restrictions?

Actually it's more likely to do with having NATO standard equipment and the aircraft being able to communicate and share data with one another.

PAF & Turkish Vipers about to join battle.
The PAF ''Top Gun'' is the pilot who in an earlier exercise fleeced the Typhoons.

This aircraft has had the Top Gun sticker (written down differently back then) since the early 90s. The Typhoons weren't in service to give this aircraft that "splash" claim.

He mentioned about the pilot not the aircraft

Let's see how many ''Top Gun'' stickiers can you spot....all from the same exercise.... as @Thorough Pro said, I was refering to the pilot....who scored the kills....not the aircraft.

I understand, I didn't notice until much later that all the Arrows had the Top Gun stickers.

How is this for an over 30 year old air frame. What looks like a fairing on the exhaust is actually the tail end of ACMI attached to the wingtip.

This is one of the first F-16s supplied to the PAF. In due course, it went through a MLU programme, some of the upgrades are apparent in this shot.
