Strike Packages versus Today's Air Defence- A simulated look

Guys any new updates on the new scenarios? This is a very informative thread and I request to please keep it rolling.

PL15s assissted by AWACS could be added on PAF side. Maybe even a Block 3 JF17

.
In light of the recent skirmishes, four things that make a huge difference in the outcome are effective use of intel, effective utilization of net-centricity, tactics, and commitment of the pilot, and none of these can be programmed with accuracy.

Bump- in light of recent events

In the past I have posted streams of simulated warfare between various forces within a mid range combat simulator run by a friend of mine....

Requests for changes to the scenario , tweaks and redos are welcome but please keep in mind that this goes to third party for simulation and upload. The guy takes his time to respond.

Hi, you just separated men from the boys with a single post.

I have no shame in admitting that it took me a full hour, a notepad and more than a few reads of scenarios just to grasp the intense and detailed planning over countless hours that culminates in engagement of a few minutes or even seconds.

Only highlights all the more, since IAF already took the advantage of surprise and must have war gamed response over a much longer period, the excellent job done by PAF in response, the very next day on the 27, in broad daylight, when the IAF least expected it to happen but also the operational readiness of PAF to respond with a ground strike, in such a short period.

What you have explained for the strike package, the most important factors in real world scenario seem to be 1.element of surprise, 2. the EW package, 3. Ability to fight your way to the target 4.Egress strategy.

For the caps and interceptors in the air, the most important factors are 1.Radar lock 2. Getting shots off asap 3. Shoot or be shot

One question that has bugged me, The capabilities of air and ground assets is replicated, How does the simulator replicate element of surprise?

Also can you kindly factor in the possibility that since SU30 is a rather easily detectable target for our intercept assets, IAF might keep the SU30 well away from AMRAAM range and use Mig29UPG (having lower rcs) instead for escort:

Possible scenario: if it is a coastal attack then Mig 29k may come into play too

4 x M2K-9 -- This is the main strike
4 x mig29 --These Provide a low-med escort to protect the flight from air assets.
2 x Rafale DH-- SEAD Aircraft tasked with taking out ADA radars.
2 x Rafale EH-- Escort for SEAD
4 x Mig29 -- Decoy Strike package
1 x A-50Ehl Proving AEW

Thank you and best regards.
