dont kill me pls but i think it was in common man's benefit if we would have never revolted for independence from uk i mean look how they are treating their minorities it better then india and pakistan. most of u guys would agree our daily life would have been lot better our country in better shape our systems in better condition we would be first world citizen of a proper first world country where hindus muslims and sikhs would have be living peacefully.

A thought provoking part of our history. If the mughals had kept up with technology, the british would never had taken over Indian Sub-continent. Another thing when the british came to India, it was one of the richest part of the world. When they left in 1947, it was one of the poorest in the world.

Interestingly Nana Sahib disappeared to some unknown fate after 1857 and despite great efforts the British never captured him or so I heard.

I think he was killed by a tiger in the terai region
