By feudal lords to safeguard their interests
Its good that British Won.Agreed. But still a war.
why would that be?Its good that British Won.
Difficult to say. But had the British not won then, it would have taken us a lot of time to feel once again as one. After the Maratha decline India had been highly divided. Its good that British Won.
Railways,Education system and territorial integrity to name a few.why would that be?
If British not won then we would have Atleast 10 free countries in this subcontinent and a foolish ugly 'Mughal' on our currency Note.Difficult to say. No.. they were mostly rajput n brahmans from awadh n bihar.. and some from the sultans forces.\They were Bengal too Under Bengal presidency
awadh n bihar.
In the greater scheme of things it was good they won. The country, there wouldnt actually be a country, would probably have remained divided with scores of kingdoms fighting each other.why would that be?
Those areas were Bengal too, that time. That is what I said. Check Bengal presidency. Bengal was divided into pieces in 1905. Only BD left as the true independent descendant of Bengal today.
