Stop maligning the military

You have every right to disagree sir! But again that's my solution to the problem we face today

Thank you recognizing the right to a difference of opinions, but would you please care to explain how your "solution" could be implemented practically, so that other, including me, could hope to benefit from your insights?

just select the most righteous among us make a council of elders to watch over him kill all the talibans implement basic Islamic laws try to make our society a blanced one, invest in agriculture and defense more so the economy can be stabilized don't implement the Islamic punishments in the beginning let the societry prosper and then implement punishments if someone disobeys remove all the fears and stigmas attached to shriat and gradually ppl will get used to it

And who will decide who is the most righteous one?I think only Allah knows that.

indeed only ALLAH knows best but we should try our best and then leave the result with ALLAHwe shouldn't worry about his righteousness because if he's not fair towards his duties the burden is on him and not on the ppl who selected him

As long as we have Uncle Sam on our heads, we are not going to see any Khilafat.
Zulfiqar Bhutto tried to unite the Muslim World under the OIC, but see what happened to him.
Then there is the problem of nominating the right person. How can we trust anyone in this era of greed and corruption?

but what happend to ZAB? he was killed by another fellow muslim, not uncle sam.

Listen brother; These kinds of views are childish in nature.

The Drone Campaign is beign carried out with consent of our military establishment and also our political leadership. Only thing is that this support is 'not officially recognized' and is covert in nature.

Military establishment is actually benefiting from this campaign. Our military does not needs to send its soldiers to kill or apprehend the terrorists hiding in our territory. This strategy minimizes the casaulties and costs on our side.

Yes! Their are some cases of bad intel. However, do not forget that Pak media commits propaganda too.

On a positive note: lots of terrorists (including Baitullah Mehsud) have been taken out via this campaign.

You are kidding right? You think I dont know what these drone attacks are doing in the Tribal area?? LeGend... You are definitely above all this... I have been against these drone attacks from the first day... the very first attack that killed 80 people, I was out on the streets of Pakistan, distributing leaflets cursing Musharaf and asking the nation to rise up against this otherwise this drone campaign will expand...

If these drone attacks do not stop... this Army of ours... no matter how many honorable and noble people we have in it, shall be considered a sell out Army and an enemy of Pakistan instead of its protector...

Dear razormc... I agree Uncle Sam is there in force... but let me reassure you of one thing... the Caliphate is now a done deal... the comparison with the OIC and Bhutto are obviously wrong because Bhutto was a socialist and his pan Islamism was nothing but a facade... the OIC along with other Muslim organizations are useless and they ll be abolished after the Caliphate comes back...

As for greed and corruption... we have good people also... after all there are a lot of people who refuse to be corrupted by others around them or the system... and when people are bound by their contracts and checks and balances... this is when corruption ends... Dont worry... we are not planning a Caliphate on the method of Muwiyah's Ummayads or Sifah's Abbasids... Rashideen is the ideal... and truly with hardship there is ease... with hardship there is ease... jazakAllah

And how should we 'try our best'? By voting for the individual we see as the 'best'?

So essentially you are asking for a Presidential form of democracy (which I support BTW).

You dont need the most righteous one... you need someone who works according to the contract...

This is why I urge everyone to have a basic grasp of what are the obligations placed on the government in Islam... if we see that this is not happening, then we go to the court with our proofs... if we see that there are no courts to account the Caliph... we realize that we need to keep working for the Caliphate...

The game is nt really about who gets the power... Power is for the book of Allah swt and the method of the Prophet saw... the job of the ruler is that of an executive... anything that the ruler does that has no basis in Islam is obviously not from Islam and thus rejected...

Our Army is capable of providing this support for this noble cause... we are now in the final stages of this change... I have asked my elders to allow me to make the announcement when the change finally happens inshaAllah!!!! :))))))

Sorry, but Zardari president now and the PPP is running the government. Please do not give the corrupt politicians a 'free pass' by simply blaming the Army. I have posted Zardari's views on the drone attacks per wikileaks. If anyone needs to be pressured or criticized, it is first and foremost the Federal Government led by the PPP.

There is nothing stopping the elected government from taking a public stance against the drones and ordering the Army/PAF to stop them. The public and media will support them 100% on this issue, and there is no way the Army cannot act with so much sentiment against drone attacks. So the focus has to be the civilian government, not the military. We want the military to respect civilian government decisions, and by calling for them to act and not criticizing the PPP, we are asking the Military to intervene once again in the government.

We are going off topic... but in simple terms... Election is the way to elect the rulers in Islam...

Heres the breakdown...

You have Intikhab (Election)
You have Ihtisab (Accountability)
You have Shoorah (Advice)
You have Shariah (Legislation)... this one we already have... the rest of the three are the similar as democracy...

How is what you propose different from what we have now, other than parliamentary vs Presidential?

Bro Agnos... I m fully with you with what you are saying...

but I have no faith in Zardari... and I have faith in my Army... so I ll knock at the Army's door... as for Zardari... be my guest and place him in front of a long range missile so he ends up in some far corners of India...
