My vote got rigged and stolen, someone who lost from that area now happens to be the railway minister. I do protest and have raised my voice against it. Come this August 14, you may see a difference in Pakistan because of the people who decided not to sit around and actually do something about it.
Here we go again. Your vote was rigged....per you guys, the Supreme Court, the Gov't, the Audit departments and the International auditors who all sat and monitored these elections were corrupted and paid by the current government......common man, does it not sound like too much too you????
Now "come 14 August" you are and some of your other buddies are looking for a change. Given the sensitivities on stuff that's already happened and EVERYONE knows about it.....what do you think will happen??? To topple the government (who's already doing a LOT of work actually), you guys will put innocent lives at risk, the clash will happen, some government property will be targeted, some innocents will get killed, the gov't will be toppled and IK will come into power (that will NOT happen). That's what you call change? Which real leader would want to put his own followers' lives at risk just to gain power? That's leadership or desperate greed for power????
The whole thread turned into why Indians are ahead than Pakistan. It's got nothing to do with Religion, or People or Education, etc, etc. It's a CORE FACT, Indians and India as a system are much more tolerant and democratic than Pakistan. If this was an Indian talking about his party not winning, he won't be planning for violence and protests that might kill people to gain power. He or She will try to WAIT for their turn and the next elections to come while he'll continue to do the best he can, for his country. Take a look at Gandhi, the most recent Ana Hazaaray (if I am writing these names right) .....what violence these guys committed but look at what they achieved through non-violence, productive protests, without telling their followers lets go bring the government down....
India is way ahead because leaders stayed Democratic, governments after governments came, finished their term and tried to do something for the people. Some did a LOT of corruption, some did less. But everyone did some part of their work for India and for the Indian people. During all these good and bad times, not even ONE general could get up and topple the government and the democratic system. THAT's the power of the system. Here in Pakistan's case, you guys are so intolerant that "if my party didn't win, we should attack Islamabad and steal the power or the military should come rule the country".
You've never let a system get developed and now you are complaining what happened? Indians have a system developed. When they come to the US on visas, they are taught what is the value of their hard work and who gets the benefit, India as a country does. That's the beauty of the system. If I meet a Pakistani, he'll tell me about his region or his part of the world and he may be ashamed of being a Pakistani. Why?? again, you guys never let a system develop completely, that SYSTEM will then put things in place to strengthen the name of the country across the world and one day, Pakistan's name may be up there. The talent and smartness is the same in India and Pakistan, the genetics are the same. No one can change it. But let the system develop. The system will develop the nationalism, team work, growth and the unity as that's what a democratic system does.
