Bro, Afghans always hated Pakistan long before India even came into the picture. Bacha Khan hated Pakistan because he simply wanted to hate Pakistan. We have to understand that both India and Afghanistan have territorial disputes with Pakistan. Much of the hatred can be attributed to territorial disputes. Pakistani support for Taliban also stems from this fact. We have been playing this Cold War and Taliban game to keep a lid on things. The unfortunate truth is that you cannot keep a lid on things forever by playing such games. Eventually the dispute reaches a boiling point. Time has come to acknowledge that we must look the Indians and Afghans straight in the eyes and fight it out. Both Afghanistan and India want to fight a war against Pakistan and capture territory.
Pakistani army, politicians and its people cannot convince both Afghanistan and India through dialogue. You have to understand how nationalistic and hateful both India and Afghanistan are against Pakistan.
These pacifists have no courage to say enough. They will sit in talks, get humiliated and accused and still promise to make peace. The other side doesn't want peace. The other side wants land. Ultimately the conflict between Pakistan and India/Afghanistan is about territory.
Respectfully disagree. Nepal and Myanmar also have territorial dispute with India. Many parts of Nepal and Myanmar such as uttarkhand and Manipur were taken away by the british and became part of india. Instead Nepal and Myanmar signed peace treaties with them in 1950s.
Why didn't Afghanistan sign anything with Pakistan? Reason for me is ethnic hatred and tribal animosity for the east. When Pakistani ambassador proposed a union with Zahir shah as president of confederation of Pakistan and Afghanistan, they agreed but then Pakistan soon realized their true ambitions were breaking Pakistan. Why?
Why is that hindus in nepal and buddhists in Myanmar have more sympathy for india than Afghanistan has for Pakistan a fellow muslim country.
This is what Prophet of islam (SAW) and islam in general has told us to avoid. This means Ethnic, racial and tribal differences should not become a source of conflict. People are made different by Allah's will but it does not mean to make it a point of contention. If someone does this, he is no longer a part of muslims.
Hence, if Afghans do not wish to be part of a muslim brotherhood, Pakistan too must deal with this reality and treat them as hostiles.
Imagine if Afghanistan had collaborated with Pakistan. Our brotherhood would be exemplary like Turkey and Azerbaijan.
