When I travelled, it was August, and it was packed (early afternoon, ending early evening). Apparently really useful.

Apparently there is some tunneling to be done, to take the line up to Jammu.

When I travelled, it was August, and it was packed (early afternoon, ending early evening). Apparently really useful.

Apparently there is some tunneling to be done, to take the line up to Jammu.

Probably due to winter snows, less movement of traffic, or probably some odds, I did almost like 10 trips and coach was not even 50% full. And connectivity to Jammu is waiting katra-banihal section completion where the dispute between railway and bridge engineers have stoped the work on chennab bridge, also this is one of the most challenging section. Expected date of completion is by 2022 or so.
