Sri Lanka's hardline Buddhist monk walks out of jail after pardon

Man you remind me of a buddy I had in my highschool, a huge fan of Zakir Naik. Never lied. Never afraid to speak the truth. Justified 9/11. Justified Islamic invaders. Justified persecution of non Muslims in muslim countries.

Just continue being honest for the rest of your life

@jamahir
Yeah yeah. Keep voting for Sadvi Pragya and dreaming of Muslim holocaust.

. .
in Sri Lanka a Buddhist terrorist monk is freed from jail, pardon by the President. In India a saffron terrorist faking to be saint gets bail on medical grounds and later claims cured by cow urine

Both making a mockery of the judiciary to start their reign of terror

sri Lanka skin head terror

The saffron color suits well with terrorists. It seems.

@Pan-Islamic-Pakistan Sri Lanka is on the road to become the next Myanmar/Burma....you see this first here. :D

I wonder where all the "supporters" of the SL govt are now?

Will they still support this extremist mindset? How low can they get to justify such reactions from Sri Lankans over a bombing that had nothing to do with the Muslim community of SL?
Myanmar and Sri Lanka are followers of Theravada Buddhism. Theravada Buddhism is somewhat extreme in nature like Wahhabu/Salafi Islam. Theravada Buddhists can be found in Myanmar, Thailand, Sri Lanka and in Bangladesh. I'm also a theravada Buddhist btw

We don't build monuments to shirk. We remove them.
Then don't complain when we will retaliate. If you can attack our temples then we also have the right to take revenge. At that time I don't want you to cry like a 3 year old kid.

It will be fun seeing that jihadidi and her ilk dragged out and dealt with in open air, slowly and painfully...just matter of time now.

Examples will be made of all you no-name jihadis at the appropriate moment. You will be made to watch it all before its your turn...

if this dude can help Sri lanka's problem , than why not .. give him a Presidential pardon

Is this sarcasm? If not, then what tf are you smoking dude?

This guy seems like the next Modi, if not worse.

Just see what his followers are up to (quoted from the article itself):

Some followers carried a distorted national flag which excluded the green and orange color strips which represent ethnic minority Tamils and Muslims who together account for nearly a quarter of the country’s 22 million population.

You ok with the discrimination of 22 million and possibly deportation/extermination or Kashmir like situation of them?

Sri Lanka needs to retain it's Buddhist identity whatever the cost maybe.

Or it will end up like India.

So you're justifying murder/torture & possibly deportation of the Tamils and the Muslims?

What's wrong with you? I guess the last bans on your account made you drift further into nonsense.

Or it will end up like India.

Yup, we definitely don't want it to become like India :D

Something we can agree on.

Arabs were pagans before Islam. So it is not an original Islamic country. According to your logic.

Arabs drifted to paganism after they were monotheistic at first. Not the other way around kid...they reverted back as all monotheistic people did.

Example: The rest of the world currently accepting Islam in droves no matter how many decades/centuries some have tried to make it disappear or lose it effect. :D

We don't build monuments to shirk. We remove them.

Will Muslims rebuild Buddhist structures destroyed by Muslim invaders?

It was war, that's what all wars are like, especially in the past. It's your god/gods/man/women vs our God and whoever comes on top is the Truth.

Why should we rebuild a monument to something that has been corrupted and is dying?

Hint: this guy in the article is a skinhead buddhist like his pals in Myanmar.

Will Muslims be forced to apologize to non Muslims for atrocities committed by them?

What atrocities? ISIS isn't Islam or Muslims....neither were figures in the past that used Islam to forward their agendas and I'm not talking about the likes of Babur and Khilji, I'm ok with them. They did what many of others had done and was accepted in their times and still is.

Will Muslims rebuild Buddhist structures destroyed by Muslim invaders?

We're protecting ones in Pakistan better than you guys in India or in Sri Lanka...

Hint: the Babri Masjid

Heck I think UAE (for all my disdain) is building a Temple. When was the last time India (Indians) built a Mosque and were public about it to the point of vomiting (by fellow Indians)?

Hinduism, Buddhism, Jainism are different pathways leading to same the outcome.

You cannot Abhramic faiths and Dharmic philosophies.

All religions lead the same outcome, more or less. Get that first in your thick skull.

Sri Lankan Buddhist need to do what right for them. Even if they decide to expel Tamil Hindus. I will support them.

Muslims of Sri Lanka need to behave like non Muslims living in Saudia or re locate somewhere else.

PROOF that this guy is nuts lol.....he's ok with Hindus (his fellow religionists) and Muslims being expelled....and we all know they won't move out of SL on their own will and will be killed & tortured to be deported...

What a sick guy. Think he needs to be permanently banned.

@Dubious please read this guys posts in this whole thread. I hope you can see his posts the same way I am and not become lenient on him... :enjoy:

@Starlord Still support SL?? (Hint: what did we ever do to this tiny island nation lol?)

@manlion @Pan-Islamic-Pakistan A true SL citizen came out of the closet today. :D

What am I supposed to be looking at lol?

I'm not as in tune with Bengali politics as you so please elaborate. From your comment tho, I'm presuming Muslim Hardliners are losing?

@manlion really appreciate your effort in finding this article and the following video(s) and exposing this sham of "peaceful buddhism" (at least that practised in S. Asia). Keep up the good work, I'm too busy to be searching the internet for these articles these day so I enjoy the good read. :enjoy:

Glad to know that....I knew about the extremist Buddhists but didn't know what they were called in their own language/culture..."Theravada" as you called it.

Btw, do you support the possible killings (maybe mass killings) of Muslims, Tamils (already happened or/& will more) and torture & eventual deportation?

This tiny island nation is way better than Pakistan in terms of economic growth and education. Sri Lanka has 99% literate people, It's HDI is one of the highest in South Asia and Southeast asia and is a major tourist attraction. What does Pakistan offers? No one would ever visit a third world nation like Pakistan.

I don't know about your claims but even if they're as close to what you're saying then that's called "being a small nation that doesn't need to govern much".

Look at Luxembourg and then to India/Pakistan/BD....which is easier to manage? Which has more likelihood of success based on how many people are going to be managed by the govt.??

SL has geography working in its favor that it becomes a tourist nation....and that and the rest of your claims will/might change as we go into a more Modi like SL...;)

Justified persecution of non Muslims in muslim countries.

I will remind you that Michel Aflaq, the man who founded the socialist Ba'ath movement in Syria was a Christian.

The Ba'ath movement governs Syria presently and was the governing system during Saddam's time.

Ohhh....didn't know this...so all Ba'athist, whether they claim to be Muslims, are committing kufr by following this ideology?

What's your take on this? I agree with my question, if you want my opinion (not 100% tho).

Islam is basically an older form of modern socialism.

And from the little I know about the Messenger Jesus, his teachings were also older socialism.

So there is no kufr happening.

This is disagree on....we're the best parts of capitalism and socialism and all the other "isms"....all else are extreme versions of basically "Islam"...which has been on this planet since Hazrat Adam A.S.

That's how "I" view it.

So there is no kufr happening.

But they're following a ideology different from Islam and one mady by a non-Muslim??

And the Ba'athists seem like ultra-liberal too.

No doubt that Islam was good for the time it came about but I will give you one idea ( of a few more I would say ) that are not present in Islam.

In some modern socialist societies there has been the concept of communal / cooperative farms. It is more efficient for two or more individuals or families to work on a common farm.

...which has been on this planet since Hazrat Adam A.S.

Well, that is more a theological belief rather than an actual fact. :)

But they're following a ideology different from Islam and one mady by a non-Muslim??

Doesn't really matter. The ideas were good.

Besides, if you look at the Wikipedia page for Michel Aflaq, it is mentioned that Saddam Hussein claimed that Aflaq had converted to Islam.

And the Ba'athists seem like ultra-liberal too.

??
