Probably. Indians in general don't have any opinion. Only on PDF you see much news on India from SL. Outside TamilNadu LTTE is/was just a news. And you can similarly ignore SL forumers opinion as extreme. What you cannot ignore is how SL people perceive India. If they have problem with India, then surely India should stay away from SL. I do blame Indian politicians for their pis..poor attitude in past and how they are getting worked up over SL. If SL wants to play buddy buddy with China, that's their prerogative. India should make firm foreign policies not the diddle daddle that goes in the name of policy.

Not really. If SL will support any Anti-India action from her soil, We will consider SL as our enemy. In that case, In War situation, First we will attack the threat which is close to our border. It's normal Defence strategy. Hence, First We will attack SL for massive destruction in few minutes.

This is so silly to talk, If there is any war between India and China, it's their problem not ours. We don't have any home made military equipment to provide any other country. Maximum thing we can do is fueling their ships in our commercial ports. BTW attacking a country is not that easy.

This is so silly to talk, If there is any war between India and China, it's their problem not ours. We don't have any home made military equipment to provide any other country. Maximum thing we can do is fueling their ships in our commercial ports. BTW attacking a country is not that easy.

This would be seen as a hostile act upon India and if the authorities see fit, they would take the necessary action. So yeah, it would become your problem but only if you choose it to be so.

India is reaching out to Japan, Vietnam, Philippines...and doing it without spending any money. This is not 1940. Encirclement of next door is silly military strategy fitting 18th century war. China probably is more concerned about guarding its economic interest in India ocean and around.

Yes I know little bit like Tajikistan where India and Russia are working on Air base. No offense: How encirclement is a silly military strategy ? It will be easy if you operate from nearest part of base or land.

Indian attacking SL ! What Nonsense!!!

We have to realize ourself that we had not treated all our neighbours on equal footing.. Now face the consequences ,barring two countries(Bhutan and Maldives) other neighbours are NOT Pro-India.
Yes India and Sl are competitor in some areas but there are lot more to co-operate.

See WikiLeaks how India has helped SL When West was pressuring SL to ceasefire in Elem war 4.If India was not there in Security Council,SL was facing Sanctions from Hawkish West on humanitarian ground.

India need to silent those Political leaders like Vaiko etc barking everytime against Srilanka just to show how sympathic to tamil cause just to muster seats.

Sometime i feel, indian diversity is roadblock in manoeuvrability in foreign relations.
