Sri Lankan prime minister hails cooperation with China

Why ?? May i know the reason ? You should worry, We have such intention and i am sure you muct be aware about our aggression and evil mind since you are on PDF for very long. :agree:

IF India is enemy of SL, then there can be some conflict in future. It takes long time to develop defence. If God forbid, Something happens between India-SL, China won't help SL. Be 100% sure on that. Even if comes to help, it will take long time and also need to cross malacca strait (near our Andaman Nicobar Island). On other side, We will need only few minutes.

This is time for SL to improve her defence. Every country has right to defend her country. Nothing is wrong in that. SL needs some 50 quality Aircraft, 2-3 destroyers/Frigates, some 1,000 KM Missile to hit at least Tamil nadu, SAM to stop our Missile and many more.

PLA Second Artillery Corps (SAC) is the strategic forces of the People's Republic of China.

The SAC is the component of the People's Liberation Army that controls China’s nuclear ballistic and conventional missiles.

No one exactly know about the size of ballistic and conventional missile arsenal of China.

China can strike any part of Asia………

No need to send navel ship………

You need to look at tourists that that come ur nation most year, not like westerns who mainly come in summer time.

Figures released by Sri Lanka’s Tourism Authority showed that 68,830 Indians visited Sri Lanka between January and May this year, up 54.5 per cent over the same period last year, Xinhua reports.
British tourists came second with their number growing 7.1 per cent to 41,474 in the first five months of this year.
The number of Pakistani tourists jumped an astounding 98.1 per cent to 6,027. It has been attributed mostly to Pakistani nationals visiting to watch cricket matches in the island nation.

1 Squadron of Sukhoi 30MKI with some Brahmos and game over in 5 minutes.

How you will fight with India ? By Chinese Inventory ? If Yes,

Do you have ? If you have then India is official enemy.
If you don't have then no point talking in IFS and BUTS because there won't be any time in war.

Forget about other issues. Doesn't make any difference to us.

Our South Wing is different from West and East wing. In War, Our South Navy, Air Force and Madras Regiment will be in south only. :azn:

See our intention, We are deploying 40 Tejas in early 2013 in Tamil Nadu near SL.

For North, West, East - We have different plan. :sniper:

Our West deals with Pakistan

Our North,Central & East deal with China

This leaves our South free..We Southners need some one to deal with .Can it be SL????

Foreign relations of Sri Lanka

The Democratic Socialist Republic of Sri Lanka has one of the fastest economic growth rates in South Asia, The country pursues a moderate foreign policy that places reliance on multinational diplomacy, Sri Lanka has stressed its principle of friendship towards all, enmity towards none in its diplomacy.

Sri Lanka traditionally follows a Non-Aligned Foreign Policy; as a member of the Non-Aligned Movement, Sri Lanka has tended to not take sides with major powers. Since the end of the Cold War, the country has pursued better relations with all major powers.

Sri Lanka now seeks to strengthen its diplomatic, economic and military ties with China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Russia, United States, Japan, Malaysia, South Korea and European Union. Sri Lanka has also forged close ties with the member states of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), African Union and Arab League.

Sri Lanka participates in multilateral diplomacy, particularly at the United Nations, where it seeks to promote sovereignty, independence, and development in the developing world. Sri Lanka was a founding member of the Non-Aligned Movement (NAM).

It also is a member of the Commonwealth, South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), World Bank, International Monetary Fund (IMF), Asian Development Bank (ADB) and Colombo Plan. Sri Lanka continues its active participation in the NAM, while also stressing the importance it places on regionalism by playing a strong role in SAARC.

Sri Lanka has begun to translate the ideal into a foreign policy that pursues regional economic integration in Asia and aims to establish Sri Lanka as a regional hub of transit trade in Asia.

Allies

Sri Lanka’s growing economy, strategic location, friendly foreign policy has won it more allies. Sri Lanka has friendly relations with several countries in the developing world. Though Sri Lanka is not a part of any major military alliance, it has close strategic and military relationship with most of the major powers.

Countries considered Sri Lanka’s closest include China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Japan, South Korea & Malaysia.

Sri Lanka has also fostered a friendly relationship with Russia and United States.

China is the largest supplier of military equipment to Sri Lanka; the two countries also collaborate extensively in the sphere of counter-terrorism and military training.

Sri Lanka also enjoys strong military relations with several other countries, including Pakistan, India & Bangladesh.

Not really my Indian relatives from UK travelled to SL to see the beaches.

As a whole for British people, SL is a cheap place to visit (but you think they are spending money) except for the flights cost.

I don't wanted to bring that word here, that's why I to told ignore comments.

That's why I said it woulda' worked better if you hadn't mentioned it at all.

Apparently it's not just Tamils that are hated anyway. They also seem to have something against us Kannadigas. Any idea why?

Are you scared ? If Yes, Then why you post Anti-Indian post/comment every day ? And when someone replies in your language, You should face it.

If you are not Scared, Then you should worry, Because Madras Tamil regiment is very angry with SL. Things have already moved beyond your thinking.

Anyway, I must say, Indians specially South Indian are very angry with SL and things are not improving. Last year, I planned to come to SL this year but after seeing the Channel 4 Video and behaviour of SL people. SL would be last country, I would like to visit.

what you reap is what you sow!!

Yep, That's true, but to British it's cheaper to visit SL, all the things are cheap, so they spend more here.
