Good that you can have the taste of corolla made in pakistan.....End of the day it is toyota and they maintain similar standards across the globe.... the decision is political as they can import the similar model from india or china in a lower cost.

Pakistani members in the know, would attest to the fact that the quality of Indus Toyota's models is on average, slightly inferior to Toyota models produced elsewhere.

In that case the reason could be 2 for this choice, 1) they want to irritate GOI and indians 2) they want to provide their citizens a car which is cheap with inferior in quality

99% of all Japanese vehicles to the island are imported from Japan NOT from India, Brand new or reconditioned.. So what makes news of a mere 100 Toyota's from Pakistan make the Indians on here wet their panties? You people have some serious insecurity issues

Considering that ALL the bits n' pieces of those buses are made in China and then exported to Srilanka !
