I didnt want to imply that.
In many cases where i had heard about molestation of little boys by teachers, or any elderly people the doers are gay in secret. They have a married life but have depressed their real sexuality.
So my point is if these people had the chance to have a life according to their sexual orientation, such a situation would not arise.

I didnt say every molestation is due to that. Even a child molester is a victim

Child molesters can be found in any group ...... straight or gay does not make any difference .

Thats a misconception bro.. In Sri Lanka sexuality and sex is repressed in general, Sighting Victorian colonial values that had nothing to do with Eastern liberal philosophies that had been the country for millenia.. This has led to frustration and abuse among the general populace.. It has nothing to do with the sexual orientation Gay or straight..

Child molestation is actually more prevalent among rural population in general and majority of the cases are girls abused by close family members often cases of incest.. So all this BS about cultural values are nothing but hog wash.. When you repress natural urges of human beings they find ways to release it in other ways

Look at Thailand.. A more righteous Buddhist country by far than Lanka.. But they dont pretend about morality, Hence the society is more secure about themselves.. Now i'm not equating the hedonistic culture of Bangkok or other tourist spots but the interiors of South East Asia, Cambodia and Laos included

i agree with you. child molestation is a wider issue. As repressed sexuality is what causes such things. So what i said was if gay people have the opportunity to lead a life that suits their orientation some of these molestation problems will get solved
