Sri Lanka snubs India, opens port to Chinese submarine again

Name calling is childish. "insecure", "thug", "bomber" etc.... its just shows how immature you are.

It is not India who made a choice for SL, SL had made a choice in our eyes by allowing Chinese ship to dock in SL.

The only options are either SL realizes what it has done or India take necessary action to safeguard its interests and ensure that it can never happen again.

insecure, thug and bomber are not name calling. Go and learn what name calling is. Insecure is when person acts madly when he feels unneccassarily troubled. The exact manner how you are behaving here. It is not name calling the perception you create here. And yes by threatening SL you are acting like a street thug. That is not name calling.

India can take any decision and action to safeguard its interests. The same way SL too will.

If you read from the beginning neither of SLns here didnt pick a side between india and china. It was failure in your part to understand that for SL to ignore china, india has to cooperate more. So to safeguard its interests that is the best india can do.

I don't believe China has ever expressed jealousy when friendly nations develop ties with any other country, even a bloodthirsty lunatic like the United States. That's what friendship actually is, not the cynical abuse of the other party's circumstances to enhance your prestige and position in the world. This is why all of India's neighbors fucking hate India, along with the "tribals" and the Naxalites.

China has never once complained about Singapore and Thailand's drills with the United States for example. If anything China is pleased to raise Sri Lanka's profile through cooperation based on good faith. If China's involvement forces India to take Sri Lanka's interests seriously then that is good for China.

How is that SL siding with india's opponent?

India and china are not at war. Your countries do trade with each other and state leaders visit each others countries. I dont know on what basis you say china is your oponent. If india does engage with china what is wrong in SL engaging with china? what logic is that?
What you said may have a point had SL received a chinese nuke sub at a period when china and india were at war. As there is no any war between the two countries this is taking things too far.

SL has already stated it wont allow any activity that can harm India's security. So what else?
Vietnam, Phillippines and China are not at war either. That doesn't mean they aren't opponents

MY country is the NETHERLANDS, in EUROPE.

China isn't hostile to India, India is hostile to China. To ask a third country with its own interests to be a facilitator in your personal containment objectives is absurd and Sri Lanka has ever reason to object to India's overbearing stance.

Well !! might is always right ...If US of A would have 'warned' SL on chinese sub docking , then things might have been different.
As always the greater 'balance' game is continuously played by the members of 'insecurtiy' council using their power and money at the cost of others.

Unlike Sri Lanka and India, there has been no comflict between Singapore or Thailand and China. THere was no civil war in Singapore, Thailand. THere was no Chinese intervention in Singapore, Thailand.

Yes, America would have gotten a slap to the face

This isn't the right analogy - America has murdered Chinese diplomats and has killed millions of people in the last few decades. China has never attacked India, so why is India nervous when China doesn't mind Americans right on her door step?

It is not about who is or isn't hostile against whom. Many nations in asia are concerned about Chinese (naval) expansion, of which this is an example. Anyone who ignores the strategic implication is from the province, so to speak.

Check up on history?

If China doesn't mind Americans on her doorstep, why is it harassing USN ships in international waters?

Even more nations in Asia are not, Sri Lanka is case in point. Only neighbors who seem to have endless border and territorial disputes are worried about China, apparently. It's understandable, given their entire respective neighborhoods hate them having China jump in would be a terrifying prospect.

Read it better. Indian forces moved into undisputed Chinese territory after years of militaristic rhetoric from Nehru and his government. The Indians sent in promptly turned into ice cubes and the PLA had to dig through several feet of hard cold earth to give them proper burials.
And the Chinese before that ... tit for tat. Still, Patrolling an area is not the same as launching a military offensive against another military. So, blah. Point being China DID attack India.
However much US oil boycot triggered it, it was the Japanese that actually attacked Pearl.

It is a nice move by Chinese and this should send signal to Modi that under your leadership, China has one gain succeeded its old dream of getting a place for subs there.

This was to be done exactly during Prabhakarn's era, but they some how failed. This time they did well.

Two things can be done to counter these ..

1. India didn't vote against Sri Lanka in UN for crimes against tamil, (despite Tamil Nadu wish) in future this may change

2. India can give a base or two to USA in arunachal paradesh , and see how Chinese react,
but india can handle it on its own..
