although its good to see people come out to throw away corrupt politicians but it will not solve economical problem . i wish we paksitanis hang some 80000 on streets here too.

I think the best solution in this situation will be Sri Lanka and India should form a joint union.... sort of merger with each other.... once a single union because of India it will be easier for Sri Lanka to get fresh loans from IMF ..... India too can release crisis relief funds as it will be then a one nation and get benefits from Sri Lanka tea, rubber exports and tourism industry..... win win for both..... not to mention Sri Lanka can break union whenever they want.....
