Nothing will happen . usa need to denuclearize n.k in one go . otherwise south korea & japan will suffer .

And you think that the Fat Kims will give it up without using it? They have the nukes; all they lack is a long range delivery mechanism.

If they know that they are about to collapse, they will use it against their southern compatriots, the Japanese and maybe even the Chinese.

NK doesn't exactly have a stable, rule-of-law, principle-based government (irrespective of democracy, authoritative regime or dictatorship).
