South Tibet must be returned before India really achieves building a ballistic missile capable of ~2000 km range and miniturized warheads. Right now India only has Agni 1 in service. Everything else is boasting and bluff. Truth is East China Sea and South China Sea are far more important than South Tibet. Once Taiwan is in the pocket, the first island chain is totally breached and the USN must retreat to Guam and second island chain. Japan is exposed and vulnerable.

I doubt India has any workable ballistic missile. All the other developments are propaganda by the regime.

US military wont do jack if it means getting into an all out war with China. They still remember the Korean War. The Americans will send its carriers and cry in the UN, but they will NEVER get involved in actual military combat with the PLA. They will support Japan, Vietnam and Philippines with money, weapons and political support but the Americans will never ever go to war with China.

For all the US chest thumping, they have never ever defeated either China or Russia in war. They were losing to Japan in WW2 until the nuke was dropped which covered up the humiliating defeats the Japanese inflicted on the US military.

Who exactly have America ever beaten in war? Just rag tag poorly equipped, poorly trained and poorly coordinated militaries. Hardly anything to write home about.

US got kicked out of North Korea when the PLA entered the Korean War.

Iraq and Afghanistan have no capability to hurt the American mainland thus the US has no fear of going to war with them. In any war, we can cause massive damage to the US. The US knows this, they have to pretend to not be scared and lose face as a global superpower, so they are trying to act tough before any war breaks out. Because once the war starts, the US will get it from the PLA just as much as they will dish it out to us.

You see those medals on your generals' and admirals' chest? They are for putting on impressive parades. Not for experience in combat, overseas deployments, developments, new doctrines, etc...

The existence of North Korea is proof that we defeated the US military. Without china entering the war, there is no such thing as North Korea today. Before we entered the Korean War, the US were waving their flag and thumping their chest at the Chinese-North Korean border.
Enter the PVA, even our volunteer army whooped your best military soldiers. Our PLA were the insurance if the PVA failed, but we know the PVA was more than enough to make a total mockery of the so called 'invincible' US military.

China's strength is its army and she can make the best use of it against india because there is land border. On the other hand, China's navy and air force are simply not yet ready to facilitate an invasion of Taiwan. The might of the Chinese army will be of no use during an offence against Taiwan.

China's air force and navy are the second most powerful in the world. We can take on #1 USA and #4 Japan in our neighborhood. By 2016-2018 we can do it without significant losses.

During a conflict with Taiwan the USAF and the US navy are bound to get involved and you do admit that they are the most powerful forces in the world at the moment. So,the wiser thing to do regarding Taiwan will be to wait till the Chinese air-force and navy become the most powerful instead of being the second most powerful. On the other hand, at this very moment if China takes back South Tibet from india, the US will bark a lot but it will not bite. Therefore, for the time being the safer option will be to take back South Tibet.
