I think pushtoons have not seen any valuable progress around them so they don't understand material development.
If Taliban and Pakistan can bring development in their respective areas and propagate among common people of the region this will motivate them to work forgetting their ethnicity problems.

advanced equipment is 1/2 of the equation. that alone will never suffice. Pakistan had no choice left but to have a fence. a simple fence is not going to be enough either in the long run. you will have to move to something more solid.

This is very much a cultural problem and Pashtun people must realize it. This is getting out of control now. If this was China / India / Russia , the state would have spared nothing to punish them. Either Concentration camps/ complete lock down or total war ..State will do whatever it takes to bring order. The benevolence and general apathy of Pakistani government and military is seriously mind boggling.
